    Hello, Shamza Behen. Another lovely recipe from you and once again, explained in your great tutorial with such clarity and simplicity in your usual trademark style. I look forward to trying this wonderful recipe (with the addition, perhaps, of Green Peas and Sweetcorn, and maybe Chanda Daal in the filling). The Samosa Pastry which you've made also looks really lovely and I love the simplicity and ease of the fold. A quick question, if I may - would the Pastry BENEFIT from a "light toasting" (ie. for half a minute or so on each side on low heat) on a pan or griddle ??? I've been told that this method is advantageous to the Pastry by making it more manageable and "easier to handle" during the filling/folding process. It would be very interesting to have your valuable comments on this. Thank you again for sharing your knowledge and experience with us, Shamza Behen. As'Salàamu Alaikum wa Rahmat'ullah.

    These look so good. Can't wait to try them. Can these be frozen? If so, would you freeze them before or after frying?

    • @MyLittleKitchenRecipes
      @MyLittleKitchenRecipes  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks for your comment. Yes these can be frozen. Just make, fill and place them on grease proof parchment evenly spaced out and let them chill /freeze for a few hours so the the pastry holds it shape and then remove any pop them into either a zip lock bag or container and freeze. Whenever you fancy, take them out and just defrost in the microwave for a few mins, fry and enjoy. 😊👍

    Yum! They look delicious and achievable 👍 Will definitely be cooking these but think one green chilli & the powder will be enough for us to try first 🥵. Thank you Shamza! X

      Oh yes definitely do tone down the chilli. Tbh when I had them the next day they had calmed down. But eating them as soon as they had been fried fresh, they were spicy lol

    Thanks for another recipe. I notice on your lamb samosa video you slightly precook the dough in a pan, any reason it isn’t done in this recipe?

    They looked bBIG. Hard to see scale, perhaps if you held one in your palms. Your enthusiasm is infections so based simply on that I will attempt to make them for friends. 🙏🏽🌻

      Ahh yes, I should have placed them on my palm so you all got a better idea of the size. But they were small. Thank you and let me know how you find them!

    Whats step if you want to freeze them? Can i fill the samosas and freeze them rather than frying them all

    • @MyLittleKitchenRecipes
      @MyLittleKitchenRecipes  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes thats right. Just make and fill and lay flat on a baking tray Nd freeze over. Then remove and place in zip lock bags.

      All to their own, you can add them if you want, we do for some veg samosas, but depends on the mood.
