Actually this is Authentic and considering it is a staple in most parts of Africa and in addition popular street food in Uganda where I live, this is how the pastry IS made at every corner. All said, every country or nation will always have a different and unique never before seen or heard of recipe of cooking the same food. You'll run mad trying to find the right spelling or recipe for pilau or is it pilaf or whatever....who cares.... This tutorial is great
WOW !! I have never seen this done before, its fantastic, thank you so much, I will definitely try it, but you make it look so easy, you must have been doing it all your life, beautiful...

You are truly Amazing. I never knew the baking would separate the sheets. It's a very long procedure but it was fantastic. The filming was very good. The explanations were great. Oh Ma'am y're so beautiful. Can I come and visit you? I was kidding. I live in France. Wish you the very best. Bless you. Thanks for sharing and caring. 😀👍👍👍
I loved this video. You have shown us perfectly how it should be done. I am definitely going to have another go after watching you. You have mastered this skill to perfection. Very well done and thank you for sharing this recipe. Now I just have to find some authentic fillings to put into them:)
Try these: 1. Crumbled Feta cheese and mint 2 minced meat cooked your favorite way, and try adding crush nuts. Pine nuts and/or walnuts are amazing 3. Sharp cheddar, corn, pickled jalapeno 4. Boiled potato cubes or you can mash them, peas, curry powder and favorite spices
One more: Boiled and shredded chicken breast, carrots, cabbage, capsicum all cut julienne and cooked with the chicken in a little oil. Soy sauce is an optional addition but it gives it a nice touch
wow, so skilfull, never seen this kind of recipe for pastry!! I must learn it. So where do you keep this pastry after it s done, if you dont want to prepare it all immediately? how long can you keep it?
