30%-40% number one is a good ratio to shoot for and keep your power up.Your doing a great job with your video presentation and solving all the cold weather problems.Retired trucker here, sitting in my chair, waiting for supper.L.O.L.
Fitz you gotta do what have to!! I'm new to your channel so far real nice I'm a retired long haul driver 43 yrs.retired in 2018 at 68 yrs.old im 73 now!! I had a freightliner like yours but mine had all the fairing and ill tell ya it was a very comfortable truck roomy, and handled great in the snow!! Well be safe and ill see ya on the next one!!
Been caught a couple of time when severe cold moved in and diesel wasn't treated to -30F yet in the station tanks. Ended up on the side of the road. You were a trooper working to get your truck going.
Ice Job! #1 Diesel+ Power Service white bottle(anti gel) air line anti freeze. FYI Next time you have air issues not building and you suspect Governor or compressor, remove the gov. from the Comp. let it hang by the sense lines. If it builds air the problem is the Gov. If it don't, could be comp., or dryer, or blockage. Tom
I do. Every once in a while menards won’t have anything for me and I’ll run something with my dry van or run a power only load from the load board. I’m try not to discuss the rates. They are mediocre but consistent

I always use power service air line antifreeze and diesel fuel conditioner
Normally I am jealous of the driving but the 1st 3 days this week I feel better about being stuck in a logistics office 😂😂.

Good info
So you just pretty much haul lumber back-and-forth? About how much does one of those loads pay? Just curious

letting it idle all night on high idle didnt help the mileage either
