If you know you're going to be running the next day leave it running! I use straight #2 and additive, hows. From Minnesota I should say if you're Going out b4 it warming up leave it run. Just not worth the pain of what you are going through., as a previous Fuel hauler i would not trust the truck stops to have what they say they have. Kum&go probably best in Iowa. Great real video
You should in fall go around truck and get up winter.install winter radiator,heavy canvas tart under motor,install winter oil& grease syntethic is must.75W90 diff oil.get anti-freeze air line,air dryer change filter,check electrical systems,radiator& heater hose.wiper yup& spare.i work pipeline 30 years western canada most shop or field work.i did some repair -45 below zero night shift on engine 594 side-boom middle farm field brooks,alberta 1990 yes i saw all rodeo.make sure you propane torch,sleeping bag,food due get stuck on highway snow storm.the air lock is not new cat engine when change fuel filter.we have pete winch at oj pipeline on line 3 job was just insane restart truck after.keep fuel tank full when you park.good luck.i hope give some help.😊

I’m having the same problem today. Went to get my truck out of its shed in Grimes. It ran at idle for about 10 minutes and died. Had to start it 3 times to get it back into its parking spot. Glad I hadn’t committed to any work yet.

I always dumped a gallon of power service in each tank. I never had an N14 gell up on me. Only the cat i had gelled up.

When your home and near electric,get a heat cable that wraps around your fuel line to help thaw and warm fuel to pump. Good luck

Just run #1 in the drivers temps sheeeeshs. Here in so dak right next door I just run a minimum of a 50/50 mix….. never any additives
See real cold temps like -30 coming higher ratio of #1
