Everyone is focused on her accent?! Come on people! I'm not even a native english speaker and I could understand every single word without a problem! This is a great talk!
Sayuri Li you not being a native speaker is probably why you can understand. I had to go over every part like 6-10 times to understand what work she was saying cause is sound like 4 words in made into one!
Then you need to see more videos from non native speakers, for god´s sake. Most of English native speakers I met, none of them can speak another language more than a few words, not able to have a conversation in another tongue. Meanwhile all foreigners with different accents understanding each other... it says a lot that it´s a matter of learning, when you only speak your own language with your own accent, you learn nothing.
Cheers for the Video! Forgive me for the intrusion, I would love your thoughts. Have you considered - Schallingora Internet Commerce Scheme (should be on google have a look)? It is an awesome one of a kind product for learning this simple money making system without the hard work. Ive heard some decent things about it and my work buddy got amazing success with it.
She's right that attitude is the most important aspect, especially for fresh grads, but the questions she recommends need to be rephrased. You can't walk in asking, "What are the working conditions here?" or "What are your expectations of me?" That will be perceived as conditional interest from the employer, and the other candidates will get the job over you every time. You can get the same info just by asking differently. "Can you tell me about the environment I would get to work in?" and "What would I have the opportunity to accomplish in my first 6 months?" give you the same info, but they show ambition, not judgement. Showing interest in the position with a positive attitude will open more doors than anything else.
Speed Up My Job Search Hi there, I need a group of people to help with my business, 3000~12000 USD per month, completely legal. No educational attainment needed, no previous working experiences needed, no age restrictions, no gender restrictions, within in U.S no region restrictions, you got any interests?

I definitely loved it ! I was part of a big corporation in the past and everything she says is true. The style in the job interviews and the type of skills they are looking for is basically someone who shows that he/she can learn by themselves and know how to solve problems in a effective manner. Bad for those criticizing her accent, I'ts true that takes effort and patience to focus in the beginning but after that you can only enjoy her knowledge and empower yourself to go and find that dream job you're looking so for.
Having good questions prepared before going to the interview will prevent that awkward moment of silence when the interviewer asks "So do you have any questions for me?"
Why should one work for a certain company? Can someone clarify thi s? Should not the company be the platform for our self achievements ? Why should I care about the company?
All her points considered but job search approach in different countries is different. Outlook of recruiters hirring in developing nations have different pre-requisites for hiring a candidate to those followed in developed nations. Job Sectors diminishing with fluctuations in market , trade and global fronts. Mismatch in educational courses offered to jobs available in the market. Elaborate and fancy job descriptions with demanding to apply only if match the requirements by candidates to a t.
BaccatePlayer not everyone. Don’t think is right to put everyone in the same basket. All depends on how much one wants to neutralise their accent. She definitely knows her subject and speaks the language but her accent is frustrating. I’m Polish and don’t speak English Polish as I call it. It’s ear piercing.
great book, for anyone looking for a new approach to job search... What Color Is Your Parachute? Most libraries probably have a copy...or I bet you could find a used one on Amazon for next to nothing...

I have no trouble understanding this speaker. I don't understand all the comments about her accent. I have much more trouble with her message, which is weak and irrelevant.
akshay singh Hii freinds I started a new business in marketing field if anyone interested in this field msg me or call me on my number 9876005348,it good opportunity for jobless boys and girls to start own business and earn a good money
Simple! She has valuable insights. As a public speaker she is responsible to impart useful knowledge. As audience, we are responsible to be good listeners and focus on the competencies she speaks of. Successful communication in this global economy requires patience, empathy, celebrating diversity while finding commonality. Obviously, she considers sharing and empowering people, in a language most common to her audience, to be more important than being criticized for her accent. I hope this is helpful.

BankruptCanoe B0To you know, you could just use subtitles instead of moaning. I bet her English is still better than your accent on her language.

39 years old up in this house! Looking for a new career, plan on finding it! LOL thank you for the video.
How’s that going? I’m 38 and starting a new job search but it’s already getting very frustrating
Smart attitude..👏 thank you for your grateful speech
Great tips that can help anyone! Love these talks.
She did do her homework 👏🏾
WONDERFUL talk, not sure that young folks will watch and believe it.
Nice lecture to explain how you can choose a job by your own interest. Thanks. Keep going.
Thanks so much for your tips. I believe it would help more people!❤
Finding good job is very difficult now. Think positive that all I can say.
If the accent is too distracting, just put the subtitles (CC) and mute the video. It worked for me.
Laura. Thank you for your constructive advise.
Having good questions prepared before going to the interview will prevent that awkward moment of silence when the interviewer asks "So do you have any questions for me?"
Ok? What are some good questions to ask? How many should we ask?
I like her talking is very smart.
it's absolutely a great talk.
Why should one work for a certain company? Can someone clarify thi s? Should not the company be the platform for our self achievements ? Why should I care about the company?
How is it possible that one could sell his time, or a huge a amount of his life to a company? The concept of work FOR a company is really ridiculous
I would like to work with you.
Great speech. Love this. Greating from Poland.

I recognized she's from Poland after first phrase. That's how many Poles talk in English...

So 5 years of university studies mean nothing???
This is what crooks of her kind would like you to believe.

Glad I'm not the only one lol
is it just me or did this talk have no coherent theme, only random collection of advice.
I'm with you there. There's no central premise to this talk and she just rattles off a bunch of random ideas.
If you over 8 years old dont bother watching this video.

How can you be a public speaker if nobody can understand what you are saying.? Maybe watch the video with captions?
I'm not a native speaker and still I understand her better than plenty of English native speakers.
