Johnathan parked it next to the crane overnight, and the crane told it resistance was futile. Might as well start cause ol Johnathan is gonna make it happen no matter what.
Jonathan, I've got to comment on this one. I used to haul pressed cotton with a 74 model that looked almost exactly like that one. It had a Cat in it that whistled while it worked. It could haul 110 bales of pressed cotton at 80 miles an hour against a head wind and never get out of 13th gear. Thanks for bringing back a great memory.

Nice Shaker, I drove a 1987 version of that truck for 6 years from NJ to Fla, to Pa, and back to NJ weekly back in the early 90s pulling doubles. The one I drove was a single axle leased on to Roadway Package System. I drove it for the owner who had 4 trucks leased on to RPS which is now FedEx ground. He also had a tandem axle Mack Ultraliner cabover back then that he drove, it had chrome wheels and other goodies plus the E-9 500 hp Mack Motor. I would sometimes run southbound from NJ with him but not for long. The Shaker had a 310 hp Cat and he would blow my doors off, to say the least. But hey, at least he did replace the mattress with a really comfortable one. Seeing that old Shaker you bought brings back memories, ahhhh to be young and dumb.
