@@ElizabethKnaub Do you have a detailed tutorial or individual videos with specific FS features? My problem is that I know what all features are available, so I don't even know what what I would request an updated video to be. For example, I didn't know that the feature in this video existed....what else do I not know!? :)
This is REALLY helpful. I do an occasional guitar/singer solo gig, and use this to record rhythm guitar tracks to play along. This is a life-saver, and the ability to use Bluetooth from iPad to PA system makes a wireless connection to a supporting instrument so easy to use. THANK YOU for explaining this!
Thanks for that! Is there a way to have the audio play automatically when a score opens up without having to press play? (For live purposes so I can just switch between tracks in the setlist quickly)
I don’t read music, so I use forScore strictly for lyrics and rhythm tracks. Waaaaay back in the day, I used lyrics on paper and rhythm tracks on cassette, plugged in to the PA. This is better, by a few lightyears.
hello, thank you for your great feedback of forscore. Q. can one move the record bar at the bottom? It is a bit annoying and i need to move it at the side ( vertically). tx
Hi, many thanks for the video. Is there a method to cut lines and move them to a new place? I ask as in some classical guitar pieces you have both standard notation and tab music, I find it best to “white out” the tab part but then move the normal notation up to make for less page turns. I hope you follow my logic - any thoughts would be most welcome
Hi there! Unfortunately, I haven't been able to find a way to move material that's part of the original pdf--I've only been able to move around annotations I myself have created. I hope they add a feature for it, though!
Doesnt work in 2024. The interface is different. How do you do this now on ipad pro? All i can do is add music from Apple Music but cnt access my in-house forscore audio files.
I’ve figured out how to add audio files saved on the iPad to forscore, but I’m not sure about audio you’ve recorded within forscore, if that’s what you mean by in-house forscore audio files. It’s a bit longer of a process to add audio files into forscore: First, go to the Tool menu, the briefcase icon on the right of the top bar menu. Go to “Services”, underneath the heading “Add Scores”. Under cloud storage, choose the location of your file - for example, the Files app or Google Drive. Then select download, and choose your file. That’s now added to forscore! Now, to add this file to your score: Go to the score you want to add audio to, click on the title in the top bar, and go to the Audio section. Now, click on the page with a little plus icon. Now you’ll see your internal audio files and can add one to your score! I hope this is helpful. If there’s something else you’re having trouble with, please let me know and I’ll try to figure it out!
I'm a complete non-tech novice using this stuff; I want to see track playing at bottom of screen while reading the lyrics from my document folder at same time...Is this possible please, and how can I achieve this?
Try using the split screen feature - it allows you to view two apps at once, and change how large each one is on the screen. You can access the feature through 3 white dots at the top of some apps. I hope that helps in your situation!
Hmm there wouldn’t be a feature like that in forscore, but there are websites that allow you to download TH-cam videos. A lot of them are spammy though!
OMG, thank you so much. I know this is 2 years old, but just getting FS, this is such a game changer
Thanks so much for watching! Let me know if you'd like to see an updated video!

You're welcome, I'm so glad this was helpful! That sounds like a fun gig! :)

Thanks for the great tips! I have a question, how do remove audio files from Forscore instead?
Thank you so much, just what I've been looking for. I have tons of backing tracks that I haven't attached to my forscore snd now I can! Superhelpful.
So glad this was helpful for you! 😊

Great video! Maybe someday Forscore will come to Windows... I can't believe how feature packed it is!
I hope so! I'm always finding new features!
Very good explanation thank you
Glad it was helpful!

Is it possible to use the play and record functions simultaneously in forScore? If so how?

Is there any news on the integration of Apple Music in Forscore? It is really annoying that it looks as if it is there but isn’t in the end.
It just worked for me today! 🎉
graciaaaaaas !
