My relentless badgering you to join me was worth it! I have done that journey three times this year already! Madness. I agree the images pre-sunrise were much nicer - well worth the early alarm clock.
Yes, you are a lucky girl. Thanks also to Ben. And thanks for taking us along with you. The things we do for photography. The lighthouse looked so small in comparison with the cliffs. Glad you were able to get closer to give it some scale. Epic adventure, Thanks. Really glad I didn't have to get back on those steps🤪 Cheers
Thanks for taking me there again. I’ve been there almost one year ago and photographed a wonderful sunrise. We came from Germany and stopped at Seven Sisters before we ate something in the pub at the cliff at the lighthouse where we parked our camper vans to stay over the night. Half of the night the was a helicopter hovering above the cliff. 😢
Ohhh Christian, so sad for such a lovely place. Most of the car parks close to the lighthouse are now closed off. But it is a lovely place. Glad you know it. Thanks for the feedback 😊👍
And when I look at the shots on a big screen I tend to agree. I really did not like the colours when the sun hit the cliffs at all, so it had to be b and w. Thanks for the feedback 😊
Another great video thanks Louise. All those years I lived in East Sussex and never been down to the lighthouse haha. A friend on mine is one of the Chaplains at Beachy Head, so totally get their job and always looking out for people being there :-) they do an amazing job!! I'm seeing Ben in about three weeks time, so looking forward to being back briefly. Thanks again for all the inspiration 🔥🔥🔥
They do such a brilliant job and the notes in cars makes their lives so much easier. It’s a really nice place and I was whingeing about going once, Ben had been 3 times prior. Enjoy your time back here 👍 Thanks for checking in again 😊
Thank you. If you do go, let me know as there are easier and more difficult places to park and walk from this was easier 😍 thanks for your comment Alan. 👍
Beautiful location and still on my bucket list mate…….. looks like you got a couple of lovely shots that day and that’s what counts but plllllllleeeeeeeeeease no more singing, even for Kendle mint cake😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Ahhhh ok, the singing stops 😂. It’s a long way for you so time it carefully. It’s a great location and I can believe it took so long to go. Cheers Chris.
Somewhere I have wanted to go for years. I have been but not down to the beach. I think a guy that a: struggles with his legs b: uses a walking stick may struggle somewhat but yea I would like to give it a try. Great shots again
I've really wanted to do the walk to the Lighthouse for a very long time, but the rocks beyond the Beach have always put me off - Thanks for the tip RE: leaving a sign in your car, I didnt know about that, and is something I've not done at previous trips to Beachy Head
If you do go down there, consider parking by Beades school. A whole lot easier than by the pub… which is where the signs are really important Neil. Enjoy when you get there 😉. Note that I don’t say if 😊
@@louisewelcomephotography Yeah I think that school is where I've parked previously for Cow Gap - I did get chatting with a Chaplain once who'd seen my car and thought the worst... Agree though, definitely no IF about going back 😊👍
Louise They always put lighthouses in such interesting places usually not such a long hike to get there . In the US the lighthouse would be on the top of cliff instead of the bottom as how was the lighthouse crewed in such a remote location?
There is one (not so attractive) at the top of the cliff called Belle Tout and it has had to be moved back and will do again as it is close to the edge. If you look at the shots, there are cables going between the lighthouse and top of the cliff, I think they may have been utilised once to carry supplies up and down. I’ll do a bit more research… watch this space 😉. Thanks for checking in 😊

I shall listen to you next time. Thank you for letting me use your lovely drone footage Mr H 👍
You're right. The shots of the lighthouse in context work better than just having it on its own.
👍 cheers Dougie. Appreciated and I love chewing the cud with you. 😊
Definitely worth the early start and challenging walk. You captures some really serene images.
Cheers Ali… a morning I won’t forget in a long time. Much love to ya lady.

It took a looong time. Dana it was such ridiculous luck. I will go back but perhaps not bother going to the lighthouse itself. Thank you Dana 👍
What a cool place.
It really is Trevor. Loads of people there at sunset normally but we made the right decision 👍 thanks for the feedback

Beautiful colours. And yet my favourites were still the square format black and whites!
And when I look at the shots on a big screen I tend to agree. I really did not like the colours when the sun hit the cliffs at all, so it had to be b and w. Thanks for the feedback 😊
Love lighthouses Louise good one 👍
Thank you Rob. Your recent adventure up north looked great! 👍
I love the black and white version of the 1x1 shot. The location is beautiful and well worth visiting. Fab vlog 🤩
Thank you Paul. Appreciated… if you ever come down, and if the tides work… if, if, if… we’ll go 👍
Sounds a plan for the future!

Oh I really loved the first B&W photo at 5:05. Well done!
Thank you I think even with all that colour, that is my favourite too. Cheers for the feedback sir 😊👍
Really nice lighthouse adventure. I've thought about it a number of times, maybe one day

I just might have to find a lighthouse somewhere near me! Enjoyable watch, thanks!
Thanks TC, we are lucky with the variety we have. 😊

Great shots again
@@paulwbakerphotography it’s not easy, the stairs were very high off the ground and ohhhh those rocks on the beach were pretty slippy. 🙈

I'm a wheelchair user. I don't think I'll bother trying to access this one! 🤣🤣
Ohhh maaan… no 🙈 😳😊
You may wish to check out GILES SMITH PHOTOGRAPHY who has many Astro Milky Way images taken at this location..
Will do Gary, thank you. I love a recommendation; appreciated! 👍
