- A recreation lounge room is unveiled for the students at the academy. William’s body double, created by Jeremy to replace the Lyoko prisoner, is elected student manager. Unfortunately, this version of William has a major flaw: he is absolutely daft. With the clone’s erratic stupidity attracting unwanted attention, Jeremy urgently runs a program to try and recover the real youth from Lyoko. But a bug stymies the program and Xana takes over the tower that controls William’s clone…

That awkward moment when Xana is the best Lyoko warrior.
If William wasn't captured by the scyphozoa and listened to jeremie's instructions the team would have a good lyoko warrior at their side. Ofcourse this william has gotten some extra powers and defenses from xana. He can be hit 2 times instead of one for example. That really gives him advantage, but besides of that he still would be a good warrior I think.
Imagine what would have happened if Franz Hopper had successfully escaped before the core was destroyed and how that would affected the series to have him in control of the console instead of Jeremy.
@@SpiritualJD12887 I think that's a big reason the writers didn't choose to let franz hopper escape. Jeremy always was the einstein of the series, but compared to Hopper he would be just a beginner. But if hopper would've escaped he would soon find a way to defeat xana. Besides, he would be in great danger, because xana would do everything to kill his owner. Xana fears Hopper, because he knows hopper does everything to interrupt his plans and will find a way to defeat xana for good, especially when he's back on earth.
So the series would have a big plottwist if hopper escaped, but the writers then should think about Jeremy's role in the series.

Why does every program that Jeremy makes have a bug in it.
Probably because he's coding EXTREMELY complex programs on a one of a kind quantum super computer with a less than user-friendly interface that was itself coded by a guy who relived the same day over 2500 times and probably wasn't quite sane by the end of that process, and he's generally operating under extreme lack of sleep, bordering on semi-malnutrition whilst leading a double life as he fights a secret war against a murderous all powerful AI that constantly wants to attack and kill him and everyone he knows, which is probably a bit stressful?

I really like the episodes where Sissi gets to break the tough front she puts up to help Urlich and the gang when it matters. Deep down she really cares and wants to be liked but she's too stubborn to let down her defenses.
I was hoping they'd develop her character more to explore that but they kind of dropped her like 1 or 2 dozen episodes ago and she hasn't really featured at all.
yea she was in only one episdoe of evolution too and she was blonde all of a sudden a real spiral. they need to make her a lyoko warrior and give us a third code lyoko series or a continuation of evolution but iwth a soundtrack as good as this one, its got to be the best soundtrack to a show ever

Given how Jeremie's program that he tried to use to free William from XANA bugged everything up (mainly Aelita's ability to enter Towers and the ability to use energy from Sector 5 to prevent XANA from taking the Tower responsible for William's clone), he could have easily assumed that was another bug caused by his program.

rewatching this reminds me of this one headcanon i saw, where the person gave the idea that XANA purposefully let william go & temporarily lifted his control over him to lure aelita to him. so the william running from the krabs and fighting alongside aelita was the real one, but XANA took control back at the last second
idk maybe it's farfetched but i think its a neat (if heartbreaking on both characters' ends (aelita thinking william's finally free and. yknow. william himself thinking he's going to be ok)) concept

That's great thinking. But I think Jeremie didn't program his clone to access the internet. It's like using your car keys to restart your phone. Possible, but only if you code it to do so.
Jeremy also only used a simple ai to control the clone (honestly it always sort of bugged me that they never made it better with all the trouble it made)
Having the internet access at all time doesn't make one smart. Anti-vaxxers and flat earthers are evidence of that.
