Thanks mate. It certainly ly threw a couple of twisty ones at me but I got there in the end. Still haven't caught a xod on a stumpy at all yet haha. Will be quite happy if its mine 😁
Good vid mate .See you took my super glue on board lol it's good for putting on to test them .The lexen bends easy as nose tow point lures are harder to tune than non nose tow.Ive got one of those cheap ozito tools like a Dremel I think that's why you got on the bench you can buy small sander attachment for them for shaping your lures .👍
Haha yeah i did mate. I have used the dremmel to shape but found it a little too fiddly at times to control. A bit of getting used too still i guess. I have a proper belt dlsander but its stuck in the country with my mum at the moment haha.
Tow point, bib and ballast are what effect the action mate, the high point wouldn't have been the issue at all. Just for future issues with lures. Ballast, Bib, towpoint, make them the focus... other than that it could be a turd behind the bib. looks good mate, defs nailed the Stumpy shape and action.
Fishermans office 100% mate. The fact it turned sideways made your job 100times harder. When it’s up and down you can bend it either way to tune. If your ballast is centered and tow point is centered. Bib is symmetrical and square your lure is minimal... I’ve been making lures from uneven weighted resin and getting results once I figured that out. Just thought I would give you a heads up for next build. 👍🏼
You can use a heat gun or hair dryer to shape the polycarbonate bib into any concave or angle you want , might be easier than trying to cold forge it in the vise like you did.
Thanks mate. Last time I heated a bib it was a bit harder to keep in shape so I tried it this way. Plenty of different ways i guess. I have also been told that heating it can weaken it.
@@fishermansoffice thanks for the reply mate. Thought they might have been, as I haven’t seen anything like them on the market. Just mainly the glass or plastic rattle tubes.
Thanks mate. There will be less lure building ony youtube channel in the future i will be more focused on fishing content here. For lure building/painting content see my instagram account here 👇 instagram.com/p/CUXJJC5FSby/? Thanks for tuning in 👊
Ahh all good mate. Maybe if your parents could get in touch I could send them via post. I'm happy to give you some as I have plenty. Normally id like to keep personal details out of comments of course.

Haha I think I know who that one bloke is. Yeah I havent really been making lures alot and still learning things. If I get into it a bit more down the track I will probably use this method you mentioned.
Great job fine tuning it to refine the swimming action, it came out brilliant! That one will catch you a cod for sure
Thanks mate.

Id say the tow point in this one was main issue by what your saying then bib was fine and I put the original in my body it was the same so yeah.

Heads up well received broham👊👊
Can’t wait to watch, you should try a big thirsty topwater, that would be sick👌🤙
I do like the thirsty lures.
He has a very unique style.
Don't think I'd do one of those but i agree they are a crazy lure.

Hi mate, was wondering where you get your rattle cases from? Been trying to find something like the one you used here.
Hey mate, I got them from a friend who 3d prints them on his own.
@@fishermansoffice thanks for the reply mate. Thought they might have been, as I haven’t seen anything like them on the market. Just mainly the glass or plastic rattle tubes.

Perfect
I wouldn't go that far haha.
Didn't do to bad at replicating the action.
What type of wood are you using
Hey mate I'm just using pine for this one. Cheers
@@fishermansoffice thanks
What do you dip it in to seal it?
Time stamp 11.28
Its carbothane clear - a polyurethane wood sealer you can buy at bunnings.
Hey Lee just wanted to ask where did you get the rattles from I'm gonna make my own stump jumper
Hey mate.
Shoot me a Dm on Facebook or IG and I'll get some too you.
