Very simple and great bit of gear. I learnt more about using back muscles / back tension in the first 10 minutes using one than in all the years in archery before. My release improved no end..
I've been using the "Spigarelli Elbow Pad" ($30) for a few years now. The pad has the "tube" in the elbow crease that Ashe recommends. I think this can also be achieved with your "Shottrainer Evo 2." 😉🤗
a different method is to simply tie theraband (beige or yellow) on the bow and have an extra bowstring, that way you have about 3lb's at full draw. It's great to start with for doing form changes and get alignment correct. Under the xmass tree this year is a pair of gillo C77 limbs that i'll be using for recurve nationals along with a new set of skylon brux arrows to match.
Oohh sounds like someone's been a good boy🤣🤣 and got on Santa's good list... It's good to hear what other people do for training equipment. With what I purchased to make the band, I managed to make around 13 so I know have a lot of happy youngsters at my club who can now train at home.
I want to get a set of nice 68 size limbs that are 28 lbs. @ 30". 🎉 We had highs in the teens for a week & things froze pretty hard. Windchill Wednesday was about ZERO F!😮 Right now the sun will be setting in a few minutes & our near record high in the last hour was 49* F.😅
Bloody hell that's cold. I guess it is December... We have just had a week of around 35 Degrees C here. The temps just rose suddenly and was quite a shock for it being so hot so early. We are now back down to 21 or around 70F which is just nice. 😁
Forgot to say, depends on how much you want to spend. The C1 or C2 are a good limb at 68" on a 25" riser. For a bit mor of course the N3 are fantastic and they do medium and long limbs so 68" or 70" on 25" riser. So many good limbs out there and with the new stuff coming out there may well be some good deals very soon.😄
Yeah Andrew, I have the N3 & C1 limbs & the C1 limbs are only 4 lbs less & their mass is very heavy & slow. I think I need to get a low # C2 for training early in the year. I have custom strings that I really love so I need to stay @ the 68 which isn't a huge difference when I change over to my Junxing 19" riser 🎉.

@@stevehunt4660 i am finding the same. For what it is, it's a great and cheap tool every archer should have.
I think I will look through he's videos I like what he is showing me 👍

Hi Andy , those hole punches work better if you drive them into the end grain of the wooden block , i want a crossbow !
@@monaco-b2c i did try that, but split the wood. Might find one in the new year 😁🤞
