Good luck with your course!
I’m curious to see how you develop!
I get the feeling your bow might have still a little too much draw weight, and at times, you're probably just happy to get rid of that arrow. The release... well, let's just say it needs work. 😎
Keep the obvious truths in mind:
When making (significant) changes, your good scores will likely drop at first.
Unlearning is much harder than learning something new.
As an old dog, progress comes slower.😋😉
I’m rooting for you! 🤞
Greetings from someone who knows how it should look, but is definitely no better at it than you!😄
It's funny you say this because I was thinking of getting my kids old Roland bow out and using that for a bit. Also my clicker position is all over the place now and yes my scores and grouping are getting worse. As for my release..... well it's not the best and after watching the OOA videos I can see why. This is what you get by learning yourself with no feedback. I think the old dog, new tricks is an apt saying for me. I have heard that if you give treats when you get it correct you learn faster....🤣😂 (New limbs or arrows sound like good treats...)
thank you your explanation is nice and simple
Thanks Bob. This was a light bulb moment for me when I was explained this.
You could really see your alignment well with that camera angle. It's so important to get a feel for something so that you can have a rock solid foundation from the start. I will make a shot trainer while I'm waiting for my low # Nika C2 limbs. 😮
Thanks Joe. I was really hoping for a good view with the camera. Glad it worked. The shot trainers make life so much easier when you can't shoot.
Made it back here, missed the premiere due to driving
Good you made it back. Hope the weather isn't too bad for you over there. We are getting some nice warm but windy stuff here and looks like summer is here. 😁 Hope you enjoy the video.
Good news. My Nika Cornerstone is in transit.
Excellent. You might have them before Christmas 😄
@ I thought I would be before Christmas. Ordered around Black Friday. It’s listed as Jan 15 🤣🤣🤣. 42lbs. I hope it’s accurate
I know here in NZ, our post is really slow but I have items from Nik'a arrive in under a week from the day I ordered. Fingers crossed.
@@peterxyz3541Hey Peter, I had the 44 lb Nika N3 limbs & a few months later ordered the C1 Cornerstone limbs. The C1 limbs I don't believe were here in the states so they took @ least a week longer to get them . I'm going to order some C2 limbs which are much lighter & faster than the C1's. I'm ordering like 28 or 30 # C2 limbs cuz I won't be using them for shooting, just training. 😮🎉
Great video Andy, I have the bits and pieces on order to make these shot trainers for Connor and myself
could you flick me some dimensions
Many thanks Brent
All good mate. See you next week.
