Its been very long since i last got up (9 months ) and i was just about to do the vfr nav flights for the first time as a part of my ppl training and was just wandering how accurate you should be with your headings(obviously try to be as accurate as possible) but if 2-3 degrees accuracy is good enough too. Many thanks and have safe flights as we gradually return ..

Nice trip, not too far from Enstone as the crow flies. Is there a lot of work involved in a trip like that? Not been to Duxford for 20 years, £18 LF and entry? Yet £35 by road or foot - defiantly one of the UKs free museums. But well worth a visit.

Another time Tim. As you know you need a full day there really. Highlight for me was finding an Airspeed Oxford, as my Grandad was working on them during the war, and I have a photo of him in it. Hoping to recreate the photo one day!

Adam , i havent heard anything from you in a while .I think you said that had a operation and you need to contact an AME fo fly again. Is the operation done ? How are you doing in general.? And have you flown from enstone anytime? I visited it just today but didnt fly as of the 500 ft AGL cloud base .
    I hope you are well..
    Simon.

@@PrivatePilotFlightVlogsCongratulations! I wouldnt know how much work a child /children are but i can imagine sleep is minimal at the moment. Good to hear you flew a bit over the summer ...Out of enstone still or has your base changed ? . The pandemic has disrupted the flow of all of the aviation industry and it is hard for private pilots like us to get back into the swing of things again ! Although from my point of view we can ne grateful that internally in the Uk lockdown measures have come to minimal amounts

@@PrivatePilotFlightVlogs Not that many as I stopped flying when I joined the RAF (Ironic isn't it but I was too tall to be a pilot in the RAF, so became an aircraft engineer). In a way I kept flying but hang gliders and paragliders and the odd little bit of flying but let my PPL go so came back to flying fixed wing just a couple of years ago, with 3 Axis microlight. So I only have just over 1500hrs total PIC but if you count time as crew chief (self loading freight) then you can multiply that by a factor of over 10.
