I have an 83 Aspencade and I bought the conversion kit for about 320 bucks with an aluminum intake and pic 3 34mm carb. I lost a bit of my top end but after replacing the 34 with a 39 mm carb and changing the jets untill I found a good setting, now its great. Unlike some opinions, it was very much worth it. Old carbs had 80,000 miles on them. The old wing runs great!!!
Single carb swap group on Facebook. Also, yeah my bike runs better on 1 than it ever did on 4. The internet is full of people with opinions but I've tried both and I know which way I'm going. Plus I have lots of proof on video.
That's cool. I'd like to find someone to work with in something like that. I can make it custom to fit any throttle body as well as fuel injector bosses made right into the intakee runners.
@@llmwall7 I’ve done a fuel injection conversion on my 75 gl1000 using aftermarket ecu and 4 itb’s. But its been a lot of custom parts to get it running.
Yeah..Honda wasted money on 4 Carbs...but they were perfect....My GL1200 is running sweet and powerful on the Factory originals. the Intake Turbulence on that manifold will not be very good for Smooth and Powerful Performance.

@@Bikesndstuf "Single Carb Swap"
I’m waiting for someone to try a Holley EFI self learning fuel injection system instead of a single carb…

@@llmwall7 on the holley setup the injectors are built right into the barrels. Its a plug and play setup to replace the single carb.

Just don’t do it & you’re going to be happy . Single carb conversion does nothing for these bikes
I disagree wholeheartedly.
It gets rid of the nightmare of dealing with 4 carbs lol
