    I left the Facebook group too bud. Nothing more I can learn there. My clutch lever lands soon I'll finally get to test drive my swap. Longer version of heat testing is on my channel. I blasted my intake with a heat gun and didn't get any change, maybe even dropped a few RPM. I am thinking your plastic intake is superior as it is much less prone to condensation than metal. I don’t know much about the carburetor. It has Motorcraft on it. They’re 60 W of heat that’s thermostatically controlled so there’s a duty cycle. But after I’m on it for about 30 minutes, it shuts off completely runs great either way the heat is applied directly to the bottom of the intake manifold. I think I have some other videos about it. The intake manifold is a design that I’ve been working on for over a year. I sell them on eBay. If you wanna take a look, search for LLMWALL7

    Why are heaters needed for the Carburetor?

    • @llmwall7
      @llmwall7 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Fuel and air mixing drops the temperature inside the intake drastically. Without heat fuel condensation on the inside of the intake causes the engine to run rough and inconsistent.

    Dang either that timing is spot on or you got that carb tuned perfect, mine would start easy but tuning it to accept it under power is another,Great job.

      Did you ever try heat on your single carb setup? I remember seeing you made something to trap heat but did it help? You might wanna try to heat your intake or carb directly. When I applied heat is when mine started running good. I was able to get the jets and adjustments dialed in. Heat made a big difference for me and I live in the desert. It might be worth a try if you go back to the single.

    That setup will never be perfect... Put a plenum above the carb and duct warm air from the radiator into the throat. You're not going to settle for electric heat in the way that you're going because you'll never have enough. Duct warm air from the radiator and regulate the amount of it. Additionally, your runners aren't heated. They need to be heated as well. CM85
