Nice job so far! Just for the sake of packaging, I’d get a smaller turbo. Also, a Vband turbo outlet will make your life much much easier when getting the downpipe made
Thanks! In hindsight we do wish we would have spent the couple extra pennies for the vband outlet on this specific turbo. Honestly didn't figure it was going to be as close to the master cylinder as it currently sits. If it comes down to it a smaller turbo wouldn't be a bad idea either..
Good stuff bro just found your ch and pretty good 👍 also I'm about to bring my Ka-T build to life in about an hour. Let me know who you get to tune you ride and if you're in Cali. Much props 👏
Thank you and that's super exciting! How'd it go? We're planning on tuning the car on our own with the help of Megasquirt auto tune. Depending on how that goes will dictate if we go to a shop to get it professionally tuned or not. We're not in Cali.
@Team Blush it started, idle for a bit, but when I tried to adjust timing with the timing gun it showed that 10 dg was the max i could advance my timing and it sound it sluggish so I'm in a hole at the moment been trying many distributor and oil pump alignments but the best so far is about 8 dg max advance on the distributor adjustment. Think you could shoot me a video or pics of your timing set up incase I'm missing something bro. It be much appreciated. I'll post a video of what I'm dealing with so you could get an idea.
Once we get our own car idling on a base map we'll get you some information on our setup. We don't want to send you information without verifying it works on our end first, otherwise you might be chasing incorrect problems. We'll let you know and good luck!
@Team Blush awesome bro! mean while I'll be troubleshooting my whole system, tracking down possible leaks or faulty fuel related issues. Much luck to you guys and keep up the good shit!! 👍
Bro, need an update. I want to keep a/c and just started with my turbo sohc 240sx. Have same fitment issues. Get a vband adapter for the turbo. Message me, i have some photos if you want to see the fitment of the vband adapter on the turbo next to the bmc.
Hey, we're working on our next video as we're making this comment! We have gotten around the A/C line under the oil return by just clocking the turbo ever so slightly. Something we're mentioning in the next episode, hope that helps you out! As for the brake lines we have an idea if it's an issue, but we'll keep the s14 and pathfinder information in mind. Thanks!
Downpipe seems to be clearing everything! The original bolt on kit from CX Racing didn't seem to mention that A/C line in the back being a problem. We have wrapped the downpipe to be safe and could even wrap that A/C line in some heat reflective tape if it's an issue. Keep in mind all the tolerances are VERY tight and could change between turbo, manifold, downpipe, etc.

Use a s14 non abs booster Oh and a pathfinder pathfinder bmc. On the pathfinder bmc the hardlines sit on the other side of the bmc.

How about the down pipe and the a/c lines in the back. It’s gonna be a blast to keep a/c
