- In this video I show you how to play stretched resolution in Apex Legends season 19 in 2023. I show you all of the best stretched resolutions, how to use 4:3 1440x1080 with no black bars, as well as any other resolution you want to play. I also show you how to properly display scale your stretched res with CRU for less input delay. (open for more info)

the nvidia sharpening helped a ton on 1728x1080 when i was using, makes it so much more clear
@@complysdo you know why my game still looks blurry on 16:10 regardless if i put .30 or .50 on image sharpening? Its like it doesnt do anything and reverts to nvidia recommended
@@DannyHeadshot1just make sure it change. It does say nvida recommended but just make sure it goes to the setting that u want it to be.
turn off anti-aliasing on apex
Sometimes the launch properties get deleted after an update, you will not be able to type in the entire launch properties before EA app stops you from typing everything. THE ONLY WAY to fix this is by using CTRL C to copy and CTRL V to paste into launch properties. You cannot highlight copy right click paste, it will not give you any options when you right click to paste. Again you MUST use CTRL C and CTRL V to re apply launch options. I am certain many people will come across this issue, glad to have found a simple fix
For me it doesnt have the option to add a new text document for the cfg file only a folder can bbe added, nothing is there too
UPDATE: you can try to enter in your monitors native refresh rate if its not showing up in CRU when you are creating your new res, but it doesnt work for every res, mostly just the really low ones

For some reason when I do this, whenever I turn off my PC, none of it saves, and I have to do it all over again
@@realxrukrwrld I figured it out I had the same problem and did some trouble shooting of my own. This is a problem due to windows 11 I believe, and windows 11's way of changing file name extensions. Go into your file explorer> go to view at the top> show> file name extension> from there you find the file that SHOULD be named autoexec.cfg.txt delete the txt at the end and hit yes. Essentially, windows 11 cause for you to never ACTUALLY change your file type so you have to use the roundabout way to do it.
The EA advanced launch options always freezes when I try to copy paste all the commands, even individually typing it, once it reaches the end of the box it will freeze. I have already tried countless times. Anyone found a fix?

For ANYONE that interested in this configs every single config that he does is still working
im pretty sure you can make multiple profiles in cru and just have everything display scaled. For ex. you can have apex be 1728x1080 and csgo 1920x1080 (or any other res) and have both properly display scaled as long as you have both in your extension block
you can also confirm that the display scale is working because if you go to advanced display scaling, your Desktop resolution and Active signal resolution should be the same. KajzerD has a good explanation and tutorial

Bro i do the first method and i go ingame and my highest native 16:10 is 1680 x 1050 and 1728 1080 wont come up my active signal is 1920 1080 and my desktop is 1728 1080 and every time i tab in game theres a delay of black screen i did read only i changed video setting file to 1728 etc idk what to do

9:31 the cru is only showing me 120hz at max even though i have a 144hz monitor, any things i can do? Can i just change the hz from 120 to 144?
ok so i tested it again and you can try to use your monitors native refresh when making the new res, and if its very stretched you can but even 1440x1080 i couldnt go to the highest, it had to be 1350 and below
For to change active signal resolution you don't need to delete things you just add your desired resolution to detailed res. section
Do i need .cfg file if im doing 16:10 resolution + those steam launch commands you put in?

@@elverhahain my honest opinion, you should always try the better quality res possible streched or 16:9 whatever and when you have a shit pc you can try and see if it works for you but i do not recommend if you can have better

I play siege and csgo in stretch rez and have wanted to try it on apex for a while but it was always too confusing or annoying to to setup. Now I have it set up and it was not even a headache, thanks a ton for the video!
The game launches in windowed mode when using a resolultion less than 1280x1080 (for example 1080x1080) and won't let me alt+enter to allow a fullscreen resolution. Seems to only happen on the EA app, any fix for this?
i just tried 800x1080 and launched from ea just fine, make sure in your video config you have both of these set "setting.nowindowborder" "0"
"setting.fullscreen" "1" and let me know if that launches the game in fullscreen
@@complys yea, I got them on. Also have -full screen in launch options just doesn’t work for lower resolutions for me for some reason. But always used to work on steam.

@@v0HaVoK0v Yea, still happens. It's like when I go past that threshold, it makes it windowed, and does not allow me to even use the alt+enter shortcut it will instead just void the alt ket. but it only happens when doing the shortcut otherwise, alt key works like intented.
What do you do if you don't have the option for DISPLAY only GPU?

Got a small problem with bind_US_standard "=" "uiscript_reset", in my case it does nothing when I click it in game, tried to rebind it to another key, the same. Idk what to do to reset the UI pls help_)

does anyone with amd have trouble making 1728x1080 in the adrenline software with the benq zowie360htz? its like theres a bug and i cant make certain reses or do full 360hz... any help would be appreciated. also would like to not have to download a third party custom res software
i wish i could help but i have no experience with amd software :( cru is used by many though and is very safe you just have to run it once to make a res and then youre done you never have to open it ever again
It is because when you create your custom res in amd software you also need to enter your res in timing display

The language of the folder changes I think, idk why but for example, because I'm french the folder is named "Parties enregistrés" and not "Saved games" just go to the folder where the Saved games is and search for a folder named like that, and in it you should find the respawn folder

You most likely have DSR-.resolutions activated.
Go to the adhyst 3d settings, and UNcross all the extra resolutions.

Ok, i have a lot of problems. I can't create my own resolution and i' cant search Saved Games.
I’m getting a lot of crashes when I boot up the game. I went back and reset my setting in the saved game files back to normal. Should I still have read only checked?
Don't put your video settings on read only if you still wanna be able to change them in game :)

Every time I try to paste the launch options in the EA app it freezes and never pastes anything. All of my friends have the same issue. How were you able to paste the launch options in the ea app?
okay so I had this issue randomly too, you have to type out each command one by one, but go to the front each time you start typing a new one, if you type them all back to back normally it freezes but that worked for me
the launch options have a character limit so you cant enter too many commands or the app will freeze

the option to customize my res is greyed out of the nividea control panel. and i know you need to disable dsr factors in 3d settings, which I did on my old monitor and it worked. But now that I'm on my new monitor, the customize res option is again greyed out, but this time, dsr factors won't even show up. help.

I have apex on steam and when i browse local file and click on the cfg folder, there’s only a client folder inside, no other text files like u. And when i create a autoexec file and changed the tail to .cfg it doesn’t ask me anything. Help me plz cause mah ui is misplaced:))

Why my frames are 90-120 on 4;3 while on 16;9 i get constant 165?
There is something that not everyone explains, lowering the screen resolution means that the workload is on the cpu rather than on the gpu, if you use MSI Afterburner you can see how the cpu usage increases and the gpu usage decreases, ideally it should be the opposite. Preferably the GPU has to be in greater use than the CPU. This simply means that if your CPU is not powerful enough you will not have good fps in 4:3 or 16:10, but in 16:9 in theory it would be better.

it's only allowing me to change my resolution to 60 hz when being on the Display adapter properties for Display 1
