- In this video I show you how to play stretched resolution in THE FINALS. I show you all of the best stretched resolutions, how to use 4:3 1440x1080 with no black bars, as well as any other resolution you want to play. I also show you how to properly display scale your stretched res with CRU for less input delay. (open for more info)

I display scale just fine on the desktop, but when I open the game it goes back to gpu scaling or something? my active signal res switches back to 1920 and forces me on 60hz. Any ideas?
I have an issue where I don't have display options in my NVIDIA control panel, I've tried everything and I can't get it to show up Is it possible to only put my streched res trough config files (shown at 8:00) ??
Whats the diffrence between using cru and setting it up from nvidia control panel? and how do i know if cru is on or off?
My game crashes when doing alt+tab if I am with a resolution other than 1920x1080 and I can't find a solution anywhere, I have tried using dx11 instead of dx12, I have tried different resolutions...
I don't have the Engine.ini option in my local data folder for the mouse smoothing option

Hey. I just get black screen after following all the steps. I got a lenovo legion y25g-30 monitor 360hz. Any advice? Mby i can try reboot instead of using the restart64 like u did
good vid, just one note on forced display scaling: this was only advantageous input delay tech on cards up to 3000 series; all 3000-4000 gpu cards can perform gpu scaling at the exact same render time as display.
Is this through "integer scaling" on 3000+ gpus?
Since the game looks a bit blurry on 1728x1080 is there any downsides to sharpen the image a bit with Nvidia image scaling at 15%?
He has a settings guide where he covers nvidia sharpening, recommending 0.3 (30%), he provides a download which offers a "supposedly better" image sharpening option too.

Use CRU to make custom resolution, it directly applies it to the monitor without needing to use your gpu for scaling which lowers input lag

Great video, this worked great with CRU and netted me a few more FPS. One issue I had though was setting up my default resolution at my monitor's refresh rate, I wasn't able to set it to the maximum refresh rate. My monitor is 2560x1440 at 180 Hz but I was only able to raise the refresh rate in CRU to 162 HZ, it turned red if I went any higher and I couldn't save the profile. Do you have any ideas why this happens?
the hdmi cord can only handle certain hz at different res, i have a 240 hz monitor but could only run 180 on stretched resolutions. just buy a better hdmi, or upgrade to a display port
should i use CRU with my 1440 240hz gsync monitor? i play on a 3:2 res (2160x1440)
That should be good, but if not it's all fixable and the document in the description would help if something does go wrong
@@complys i just attempted to do it but it wasnt working correctly. since the monitor is 1440p and 240hz, my res's would go under Display ID bc the max refresh rate i could get on CTA-861 was 144. regardless, it didnt change my signal res
The Finals is already optimized, will there still be an optimization for fps in this game? currently after learning that i wasnt using my ram speed (4800mts) my fps was about 70 to 90 dropping but not that noticable still smoot, after using my ram speed, im getting constant 80 to 100 fps, which was smoother, (my ram speed before was 3200mts) my cpu mobile supports upto 6400mts im planning on upgrading it then get to 32gram (currently 16). RTX 3050 mobile, Ryzen 5 6600H mobile

@@chadharpicenjoyer8591look up how to enable xmp or DOCP in ur bios. intel will be xmp and amd will be docp. Its an overclock profile for ur ram that allows you to get the speed that is advertised, like 4800mhz in ur case
NVidia has released an update for DLSS in The Finals. Is it worth activating DLSS or continuing to use TAAU?
only use DLSS if you're really struggling to run the game and need the boost, with how DLSS works using A.I it makes a pretty blurry image in comparison to normal anti-aliasing
I don't have a 40 series card to test but you can see for yourself in the practice range, if the dummies in the enclosed section still have ghosting then I wouldn't recommend using dlss

1728x1080 for highest quality, 1600x1080 if you want a little more stretch and look too bad
why are you running your desktop at 60hz?
I use a 2560 x1600p res laptop. My game is stretched vertically. Do you know how to get rid of this
if you didn't fixed this, you probably need to make your resolution 1600 x 2650 and not 2560 x1600
