Check out this gorgeous 1987 Buick GNX. This GNX is # 393 of the limited production of only 547 ever made. Since new, it has only been driven 26,870 miles. This GNX is completely bone stock from 1987 with the exception of regular maintenance items. This is only a 3 owner car that was bought in South Carolina which is where the first 2 owners have kept it. The final owner had this car for the last 20 years. Under the hood sits its original Numbers Matching 3.8L Turbocharged V6 connected to its original 200R4 4-speed automatic transmission. Some factory options include Air Conditioning, Power Windows, Power Steering with Tilt Steering Column, Power Door Locks, and Power 6-Way Driver's Seat. Other cool features such as the Anti-Theft Deterrent System, Cruise Control, and Delco AM/FM radio cassette player with concert sound speaker help to bring this car to life. There are some hard to find chrome GNX specialty parts, custom made GNX floor mats, headrest, custom trunk kit labeled 393 GNX, and more. Along with this purchase comes the original GNX window sticker, ASC sticker, GNX Booklet, and the GNX headrests as well. Beautiful , my buddy in the late 90s had a Grand National it had some bolt ons and we were at a pool hall and i still remember when i went for a ride in it for the 1st time and i couldn't beieve it , thing put u back in your seat and sounded like a cross between a jet airplane and a vacuum when it took off..
My Dad used to have that car, but he sadly got into accident with it(but don't worry he was okay, God Bless Him)

I own that same car and kicked mustang ass all over the place back in the day im glad I but it a way to still get to enjoy it every now and again

That is a scary fast car turbo beast. McLaren worked on the Suspension system on the Gnx across the street from the Buick factory at McLarens factory
Awesome ride. Easily the coolest car of the 80's. The regular Grand National's and Regal T-Type's were sweet rides too. I believe the 89 Turbo Trans Am also had the Buick 3.8 Turbo from the 87 GNX

My friend had a 86 grand national and traded it in the next year for a 87 gn,we would ride 4 deep with a case of beer outrunning EVERYTHING ON THE ROAD.
sharp. very cool find. and RARE!! surprised there is no "whiting" of the paint coat near bumper edge seem. as these are notorious for the bad paint quality - - yet, now it adds a touch to the GNx that can't be duplicated!
Back in 86 my buddies mom had a T-type we used to get stoned and take it out and rip on it great times

I had an 87 GN. You had to make sure you were pointed straight and you had a lot of room ahead of you when you mashed the gas. A GNX had to be downright scary.

Bad to the bone = sleeper, no other coupe that size could blow people away with a pure suprise of crazy acceleration.. From a V6, not a I6 & what does the GTR run these days lol...

How does one keep original paint that nice? How is the car cleaned? I see ZERO swirl marks or any signs that the car is ever wiped with anything.

This car defines the 80’s. It is punk rock, it’s anti-establishment, it’s the anti-hero, it’s the true dark horse. It was a statement, it was a “fuck you” to your dad’s muscle car, and to the idea that American Muscle had to be V8 and had to be super charged. Buick really out did themselves with this car. I would kill for an original, but I would also settle for a modern revamp if Buick ever wised up and would make one.
