Exos become incredibly easy to maintain if you max rep with Ecologists and get the recipe for the PSU that reduces power consumption by 80%(3 different versions all are OP).Full sprint for hours and it will barely drain.+ you get a cool ability depending on which PSU recipe you get

I always carry an extra backpack on me so I'm able to make a quick stash to put extra loot in. That way I never have to worry about leaving potentially valuable items behind to despawn from a pack of dead stalkers.

I have another "too much crap to carry" tip. I found that companions have rather small carry capacities. However, you can dump more items on them than their capacity. And then it seems that they're willing to pick up even more stuff, as long as it is weapons... So for example, I found an Exoskeleton. I took away the gun I'd given Hip. I gave her the exoskeleton. Then I gave her some guns on top of that and she was somehow able to carry it all. I'm not quite sure how this works. Worth a try though.
the head armor is separated into 'the face' and 'not the face' i have already tested shooting a stalker with exoskeleton with sks AP round. he won't die from being shot on the back of the head but a bullet right between the eyes is lethal
You can keep repeating the mission to find classified docs in a stash (most medical trader) so that free stash [chances to get a drug making kits or tool kits] i got a random m4 from one. Just a smol tip for early game.
True but it always dangerous early on. Try to find it somewhere you're comfortable. Say you don't like to go to Darkscape. Then you have to wait for to change where it is. It usually take a day for it to reset
About the package delivery. Give the package to them, when they die, their corpse don't despawn and the package wouldn't get loot by other stalker. Especially the egghead in Yantar! They usually wandering behind lab x16 entrance then got killed by the snork
One morething that should help with the cary weight is attatchment and artifact. The Titanium grid can increase up to 7 kg but makes you weak to electric. Night Star, Gravi and Goldfish was better but careful with Gravi, it has Psy-reduction which makes you takes actual damage when go near Psy field, Psy Anomaly and get hit by Phantom. And it killed me ridiculously fast, end my Ironman run just by walk near Radar Anomaly. I ask the Dev about this but seem's like it just a feature with Psy-Negative.
How in the world can you sprint with exosuits? I've been told you can sprint with one but everyone is saying you get the hydraulic servo upgrade but google is not giving me any answer as to how to obtain that other than killing exosuit enemies and just getting lucky with traders but is that just it cause I might as well just throw my exosuit away and just run with regular armor.
+7% damage +10% hit impulse +3% bullet speed (unchanged) +25% weapon degradation (unchanged) -10% dispersion (unchanged) -17% recoil (unchanged) - No more accuracy debuff when moving and shooting with a silencer - Also affects BAS suppressors (which were really bad with -10% damage etc... so BAS specific silencers received a huge buff actually, +17% damage and improved accuracy!)
On the subject of exoskeletons and power... is there any way to recharge military battery units with normal batteries, or would the only way to be to use one of those perk artefacts that recharges batteries with anomalies/while sprinting?

How to charge exo batteries? Description says if u have a pack of 5 electron artifacts u can charge the exo suit batteries with it by stepping into electric anomaly but I tried and it dint worked. 😊 Though I was able to charge all equiped devices batteries in one go by electron artifact.

yea, in the end I just spawned the recipe in my inventory and bought random stuff and ditched them right after until I lost around 90000-100000 Rubles to represent me buying the PSU reactor.

I know there's a button to turn on to use HD model pack but you've got to download it which I thought I have but still nothing works

It was a very useful video. I am playing gamma without story mode the question is that how can I get the psy helmet? I made already plenty of quests for the dr in yantar but he didnt offered it yet. Any advice? I am playing with mercs at the moment and I cannot go to red forest or limansk unfortunately :/
I'm not to sure if you can do the quest to get teh psy helmet without story mode. But I know that if you kill sakarov in yantar, he will drop the helmet.
Ive had 3000+ Relations with the ecologists now for well over 2 weeks and the scientist merchant never refreshes to include PSU or recipes for crafting better PSUs. I've been to both scientific bunkers and neither one seems to have Tier 5 inventories even though they are both have T5 under their name. I was under the impression that once you get to T5 after 48 hours they will always have a random recipe and a PSU for sale.
@@nullmoxy yes, I'm sure that before I moved my saves over to my new PC and updated GAMMA the Duty merchant would sell PSUs, now he doesn't. Only problem is that I tried reinstalling an everything had an error while downloading.
@@nullmoxy I fixed it, I updated my Gamma, which first broke the game because they’ve added a new step for installation that required some mods to be downloaded directly before installing the rest. After that I my traders updated to the correct supply level
Talking about tips and tricks, how the hell I aim with the grenade launchers? Some don't even have sights and the ones that have sights, it wont work, be it by being blocked by some other part of the gun or by not being aligned with the grenade trajectory. I only found one gun which uses a funcional grenade laucnher, the L85 and its M320. The iron sight of the GL works perfectly.
I have a question: How does companion weapon condition work? I did notice that companions are pretty useless once their weapon condition hits 0% but I don't know if parts conditions matter or just weapon condition.
A weapon’s part’s condition has no effect when used by a companion. The condition of the weapon does matter as the lower the overall condition, the more likely it will jam on the companion. The equipped weapon will decrease in condition as the companion uses. But the parts won’t change.

It seems that every bone of stalker has different damage multipliers. Unfortunately, eyes have the same mult. as head but shooting stalkers in toes and fingers will deal the least damage. I learned it yesterday.
The first tier of upgrades require basic tools, second advanced and third expert tools. You need to give the tools to the trader or just use an upgrade kit yourself.

Just got my unisg nosorog and played with it for a bit and it almost feels like cheating lmao. But I like it a lot, it makes me feel like the struggles of early to mid game were all worth it when you can take out the entire monolith base with a sledge hammer and pistol. So In the end it makes me feel less guilty plus if you get TOO cocky you will die still

Radar anomaly kills you regardless of your psy protection. One of the worst anomalies, because it could block entrance to buildings.

Open a workbench and go to the upgrade tabs. The Upgrade is called servomotor boosters.
You can scroll down on upgrades it should be there
Would love a rifle tier list. Or maybe just a top 10 or 15, because I know there are fuck ton of them in the game.

Get the SCAR, but look for the model with an attachable grenade launcher. Damage is twice than the 5.56 /5.45 rifles.

Mil-Spec PSU's can only be got from killing exoskeleton Stalkers.

As of GAMMA 0.9 they have been moved to general traders at level 5.

i'm on version 2.4.4, how do you get exosuit to work? i Built the reactor psu with a battery (not 99%) and it still showing 0/400 power? Help anyone

You can increase enemies accuracy which will make the gameplay more challenging
