The Sony cine lens aperture and focus is fully manual, although the zoom is motor assist and can be remote controlled.

This was 10 times more helpful than the Gary Fong tutorial I paid $40 for. In his, he just tells you what you can do with the camera but he doesn't tell you what button he's pressing or where to find anything in menus. So, thank you SO much.

I felt like I was going to be the only one noting that sony should use you for instructional videos, along with best educational video. Your production, timing, information delegation, cine & editing skills are just top notch. Probably not - I'm never all that happy with a lens that ramps the aperture as you zoom in. Although it doesn't zoom as far, I have and enjoy the 16-70.
