Absolute gold here, guys. I’ve been teaching this to my father-in-law by saying “down, under, and through”. I’ve always felt that right side bend, with hip rotation, were the keys to a good swing. I think the other 2 keys(as far as arms, and wrists go) are keep right elbow close to you, and not letting the left wrist cup. I think practicing these 4 things will help people tremendously. Love your content, bro.
All else equal yes but not required. I like both feet slightly flared out and the knee caps pointing close to same line. That makes easiest with backswing changing flex of legs, turning, tilting.
Wonderful advice however in the feel part of the downswing part 1 and 2 are so nice and clear but there's a part 3 feeling after part part 2 which i believe should be felt and thats the right hip going down and under the left hip and feeling the left hip rising through impact am i correct tks
Tremendous video and tremendous swing!!! I did however notice that your right foot would sometimes move a few inches towards your left foot during your follow through, but not in this video. I think either follow through can work, though your follow through today (with your right foot not moving towards your left foot) is more conventional and maybe a slightly better way to hit the ball. Maybe a little more hip flex and side bend stopped your right foot from drifting those few inches towards your left foot after you hit the ball?
I worked on right side bend a few months ago and could hardly tie my shoes for a week (back become crazy tight.. and that was one afternoon of work). I stopped focusing on side bend. I was trying to shallow the club as I get steep early in transition then I drop the club behind me to fake shallowness. Results in an extreme in-to-out move. Anyway, my PT and Chiro said in no way should I be thinking about bending the spine while rotating.
This makes so much sense. As a chronic early extender that normally plucks the ball of the turf or hits it thin this is golden. 🍻
Thanks for watching Tim!
That’s exactly what I said. I’m also a early extender. Took me forever to break that habit. Terrible habit that zaps all of your power.

Thank you very much Jamie!
Don't know about anyone else but this is awesome detail gents. Terrific lesson. 👍
Thank you Roger!!
Excellent video! This is not talked about enough. Great work.
Appreciate it!!
Eric, do you like wide knees at setup (like you're on a horse) to quieten the lower body?

I need to take this to the range, I do the first part but then I tend to fat shots as I don't turn my hips well
Hope it helps!

Thank you George! Appreciate you watching!

I had some health issues with trail hip was the MAIN thing that changed the mechanics a bit
Wish I saw this 2 years ago!!
Better late then never :)

You are bending from the lumbar spine all side bend should be from the ribs up.
@@MiloLinesGolf Hmm..I’ll buy that. Thanks for the clarification.
