@LudousFeed the V2L adapter is rated for 10 amps however the Seal's max V2L output rating is 3000w which makes it capable of 12.5 amps. Also there is a system available to actually use your V2L to power a number of circuits within your house. Been running this system for 3.5 weeks now and been averaging 6kWh/day from the Seal to power the house. This turns any car with V2L into a mobile house battery. Helps reduce electricity bills and provides extra energy security during any blackout period without needing to run extension cords throughout the house.
Very cool. I have one GPO circuit with a transfer switch in a sub board in my garage to power points in the garage, light outside the garage and main bedroom. I used a 10A sure plug with a 10A RCD for the sure plug that I have a micro solar system plug in to right now until I get an EV. The transfer switch position for the power in plug has an MEN link to a dedicated earth rod outside. The grid source has a 16A RCD.
Tom - had my 5000klm service. The software wasn't updated (apparently there's an embargo on updates 🤷) but they somehow modified the lane keep assist. No longer need to turn it off - barely even notice it.
How did you get the mat clips on the fixed car carpet? Im from europe and there are no clips on the interior fixed carpet. They supply rubber mats which then have the clip on hook to clip on the the removable mats.
These particular mats were supplied by BYD comp when my car was delivered. Otherwise Top BYD also sell floor mats: BYD Seal Accessories Part 2: Floor Mats Boot Trunk Mats Frunk Mats th-cam.com/video/maZHNLseUk4/w-d-xo.html
during ordering process I asked for the service interval. in europe they say 1 year or 20.000 km. What is done during your first service after few thousand kilometers? I found your video of the first service. I will know find it out ;) Thx for your great videos! Greetings from Austria

I just wish I could charge another EV from the V2L... It doesn't appear to work though. However, plugging in the vacuum cleaner to the V2L while cleaning can be really handy!
I've seen another video of someone doing this actually! They said you had to use a different brand level 1 charger, the included byd level 1 charger won't work.

Awesome work 🙏 82.5kWh is the equivalent of 6 PowerWall 2s
Which system are you using to achieve V2H?

@@lavectech Would I be able to get my electrian to set this up without any trouble?

Hi bud can you tell me what that setup cost to run my seal supplying power to my house? What parts do I need? That's exactly what I have in mind.
Good to know they fixed the pedals, the first batches of pedals had the Spelling mistake "Bulid your Dreams"
Oh no 🤦♂️
@@LudicrousFeed you can still see the mistake in the photos on the site
Oh lol yes you sure can 😆
At least it didn’t say build you’re dreams

Thanks for the update! Embargo on updates?? How weird
Glad to hear about LKA … will have to test it once I have my service 🙏
@@LudicrousFeed seems the embargo has been lifted - just got the OTA update notification. Will be updating soon.
@@Cam-uo8ey Me too! Video soon …
Tip when it comes to installs that require this sort of adhesive - use the dryer to hit it before installing, it helps make it more secure
Good tip 🙏👍

Hi. I bought rwd version.. this is not v2l cable.. car is capable it?
Yes the BYD Seal is V2L compatible and in Australia, the adaptor is included with the vehicle
Do you prefer the new brake pedal/accelerator pedal?
Yeeah! They look good 😎

@@huntchris maybe the newer v2l from the seal has a restriction also?
@@D-Grows I don't think that's it... there's more to this. Others have suggested earthing...
that cable is longer than I was expecting, I should be able to get it inside if I reverse into my driveway.
Me too, 5m is a good length
those metal pedals are bad feng shui.... foot keeps stomping on 'build your dream'..... 😆
Solution: drive slower 😁
What a piece of junk vehicle.
