Why oh why can you only have one EV on the app, this is a massive error from the developers

Not having the ability to support multiple cars and for them to have their own schedules is mind blowing to me.. Please fix this

Trying to set up both of our cars (Telsa model 3s) to work on my phone as well as my wife's though struggling for some reason. My wife has hers set up though when I plug mine in I have to phone her to approve it to switch it on and charge. What are we doing wrong please? We obviously need to be able to use both Teslas on this charger without such a faff, thank you

Hello, unfortunately the Ohme app currently only supports one vehicle to be set at any one time. To charge two different vehicles you will need to ensure you change the car in the app before plug-in. This will provide Ohme with the correct information for the car it is charging.

      Please follow the steps below:

      1. Ensure Ohme is unplugged from car A
      2. In the Ohme app go to Manage My EV > Switch Car and select the make and model of car B
2b. Log in with the credentials of the car's manufacturer if you have an account
      3. Plug Ohme into car B
      4. You will see the car selected will be displayed beneath the session graph on the 'Dashboard' of the Ohme app
Enabling you to save multiple car profiles is a feature that has been raised with the team previously and Manage My EV is the first step towards that. We are hopeful that in the near future we'll be able to provide you with a useful tool to easily switch in between car profiles.

Please let me know if you have any further questions.

Why can we not have more than one Tesla? it's very annoying.

A multiple cars feature is on our roadmap James, but swapping cars before plug-in is the best option for now. Don't worry if you forget to do this (your car will still charge), but you may notice it doesn't charge as excepted, as Ohme uses the specs of the selected model to calculate the session.
