Craig mccracken never gave the 2016 reboot his blessing! He actually told cartoon network that he wished they wouldnt remake it just for marketing, but he couldnt do anything since his ownership of the powerpuff girls title expired when he left to make wander over yonder for disney

Then they must of just thought of a way to say that they were sponsered by Allstate. Therefore, the people behind the show just thought they were probably being cool, and "with the times" because of the word "yas" and the horrible "dance" (I say that loosely) the shall not be named. I'm not saying these people are old, by they seem to be trying too hard to be cool. I don't know, that's my opinion

Well, the reboot was just plagued by bad writers who probably knew very little or nothing about the original series(like with all other CN reboots). So the failure of the reboot isn’t exactly Nick and Bob’s fault.

Before the movie came out my brother thought the girls named themselves because the Rowdyruff Boys named themselves, I made him watch the movie so he would know the professor named them. I was like 7... We fought about it for ages.

actually, Lauren Faust was only the show runner of MLP FIM up until season 2.
Her last episode was the two-part season 2 premiere, "The Return of Harmony". She is responsible for Discord and his design as well as basing his personality off of Q from Star Trek: The Next Generation and dropping that little tidbit on the powers that be was the driving force behind actually getting John de Lancie to voice him. That said, the role Lauren played in the show has never been forgotten by fans, she still does Pony conventions (although only on the West Coast), and she is still credited in every episode at the end of the theme song ("Developed for Television by Lauren Faust"). She was worried when she left that she would be forgotten, and the bronies have been happy to prove her wrong :3

16:15 actually, in Brazil(a Latin American country for those who don't know) their names are Florzinha, Lindinha and Docinho. They are all diminutives. Florzinha(blossom)=flower, Lindinha(bubbles)=pretty and Docinho(buttercup)=candy.
Probably the names in the video were choose in countries which the native language is Spanish, in Brazil the native language is Portuguese.

The Powerpuff Girls movie should've been nominated for an Oscar for Best Animated Feature in 2002 and the original Powerpuff Girls is better then the reboot.
I saw the PPG movie with my dad in the theater. I didn't realize until I was an adult how funny and smart this show was! No wonder my dad liked it too.

The Powerpuff Girls intro (old) actually uses the colors of the girl's personalities. Bubbles is sugar, Buttercup is spice, and Blossom is everything nice.

No, Blossom in latin america is Bonbon the name of a popular rounded candy covered in chocolate, I know because I am latin american.
"Bombón" is referred to as Marshmallow in a lot of Latin American countries, I guess it depends on the zone you live in haha.
In México a lot of counties refer to "Bombones"" as Marshmallows.

The monsters they fight are Imaginary Friends corrupted, which is why we need Foster's, so they get the love to prevent them from going savage.
