      I was looking at lights today. I really cant make my mind up do i go with a kit or get they 3 main parts ( ventilation, light, tent. I believe i have figured out the right tent. .It's a 3x3 , tho i would love to do a 2x4 . I just can't afford to go that high. The air system an ventilation i believe i have narrowed down. The light is my biggest stump. Price an need of something soon is playing a big factor.

    Thanks Aaron great videos. The question I have is how many plugs are needed for the 4x4 complete system grow tent. Also, how many feet off the floor should they be placed? Thanks again!

    • @HappyHydro
      @HappyHydro  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey! I would say 4-5 outlets would be needed to run everything in the tent depending on your needs. As far as how many feet from the floor, are you referring to your outlets or items in the kit?

    Once you try a bar light, you'll never go back to a quantum board. I'm a little surprised AC infinity made a new board light.

    My only issue so far with my s44 is the knob broke off like 3 days in but I just popped it back on and it’s fine. Also them calling it “4x4” when it’s clearly 2x2 is a bit misleading because I realized they mean it as in “for the 4x4 tent” but label it as 4x4

    Liked and Subscribed!
    Question- Would you conclude that the light is strong enough to grow some serious quality stuff?
    I am tempted to invest in this set up because I keep running into the issue of having too much heat in my tent and not knowing how to fix it without taking away more light than I need to be taking away. Im running a 4x4 right now with the front door wide open and an air conditioning unit pointed at it which is not ideal because a ton of light is leaking out.
    Getting the 3x3 with the AC infinity LED and the electronic control system seems like it would be the easiest thing to do but I dont want to take that route if it means compromising on my lights.
    Do you think this light is on par with what Spider Farmer and Mars Hydro have going on?

    • @HappyHydro
      @HappyHydro  ปีที่แล้ว

      Oh boy there is a lot to unpack here. But the quick and short of it is this. The UIS system that connects all of the AC Infinity products together is really intuitive and helpful for growers to control their environment and they make some pretty good products. With that being said, Spider Farmer/Mars Hydro started off as a light company, making and improving on LED Lights. They also have removable drivers if heat tends to be a problem. Do you currently have any environmental control setups in your 4x4?

  • @Kamon67

    Great video ! I just bought the 4x4 kit that come with the ionboard S44. I read in few places that this board may be too small for a 4x4 space tent. What is your thoughts on this ? Does 400w enough for a 4x4 tent ?

    • @tombeierle25
      @tombeierle25 9 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      That should absolutely be enough. They say they’re equivalent to the old 1000 watt Hps bulbs which I’ve seen 3 of those grow 80 plants. So the s44 should absolutely be able to handle a nice big 4 plants.

    • @HappyHydro

      @@Noticerofthingsthanks for pointing that out. Would the 4x4 tent with the S44 be a solid choice? I’m torn on buying everything separately or a kit. I was planning to buy the 4x4 AC Infinity tent kit but I’m weary of the light. Some people say the Ionboard S44 is great while others say it’s not. I could try it and then swap it out if I’m not satisfied but I’d rather not go through that. Also I don’t want to keep the light 12” away in case the ladies have a growth spurt. I was looking at the Mars Hydro tent as well simply because it sounds like their lights are better. The Mars 4x4 comes with the FC4800. It sounds like people like the bar style lights over the boards. Any input would be great. Thanks everyone!
