    AC Infinity is just pumping out new tech and gear. With their new line of LED commercial lights, what are your thoughts?!

      I have this light and I really like it. I can’t compare it to anything cause this is my first grow and my first light of this size. I can say that the stuff around the outer edges seems to be just as happy as the stuff in the middle.

    Amazing how far LED lighting has come. AC infinity has brought automation of lighting and enviroment to the home grower for reasonable $

    @HappyHydro you mention AC infinity recommends 12” and 40% at seedling and early veg, do you mind linking that info? 3:48

      If you go to their website and look up the EVO8, then scroll down to the Technical Specs. Open the Product manual PDF and on page 22 and 23 is some info about hanging height! Hope that was what you were looking for!

    There are not 2,688 LM301H Evo Diodes on this light, lmao. There are obviously some IR, 730 nm, 660 nm, etc that have different efficiencies.
    Why doesn't AC Infinity publish the total efficiency of this light? It's NOT 3.14 umol/J - that is only for the LM301H Evo LEDs.

    • @tthtonekid
      @tthtonekid 6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Because it's not that efficient it's so funny seeing people tripping over themselves trying to explain why it's the best but you gotta push like 1400 ppfd in the center to get passable lighting at the edges.

    Recently purchased the ion frame evo4 300w from you guys; and I am new to growing wondering what is your reccomended heights and %s for that light for every stage? Looking for all the tips and assistance I can get, thanks for making it extremely easy.

    • @HappyHydro
      @HappyHydro  10 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Hey thanks for the support! It's not an exact science because each plant is different. But a quick and easy recommendation is about 12"-18" above the canopy at any stage. As well as 40% light output during seedling, 80% during vegetative growth, and 100% during flowering. Always keep an eye on your plants to see how they are reacting to the light. Such as if the seedlings look like they are elongating you may need to bring the light closer or turn up the intensity. Or if your plants are being scorched, move the light away or reduce the intensity. And don't forget that we are always here to help you grow!!

      @@HappyHydro I looked up the par chart for max for that light model. I'm confused on how to read it. Can you do the conversions? I have the light 36" away from canopy at setting 2 and still getting 200-300 par.

    • @Bravosierra175
      @Bravosierra175 10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@HappyHydro you should make a video on the evo4 light if possible showing the different par levels to see how accurate it is to what they say. I'm using the paid photone app so I would expect it's probably off by a bit
