      because I own this tent. I have been using it on my first grow. Lots of ups and downs, mostly my fault, but without this tent, I feel like I would’ve had way more issues fighting temperature, humidity, etc., but the app running on automation does everything for me in that aspect so I can focus on the plant and get that dialed in. I highly recommend it if you're looking for a tent.

    in my 2x3 agromax tent i have my fan and filter outside the tent mainly due to the fan it self naturally gives off heat from the motor aswell, and my 2x3 tent is only 5 ft tall. so i have the filter standing on the floor with the inline fan ontop of it but facing the direction to pull air from the tent instead drawing air into the filter to dispurse. doing this allows me to have my lighting be higher and not worry about my plants running too close after training. makes the world of a difference!. also have an intake fan blowing into the bottom from air in my lung room. instead of utilizing the screened flaps. helps with the exhaust from having to work too hard pulling air out allowing the setup to be a bit quiter aswell! ( the tent and filter + inline is inside of a small closet space and temps work out perfectly still since i draw from the actual room instead of recycling the air in closet )

    The kit looks very nice. I'd probably rather have a ViparSpectra ks3000, but that included light is nice. It's good they do not include the more expensive oscillating fan. Although it's a great idea, those fans' oscillation mechanism is a POS and can break quickly. For me anyway it broke after only 3 weeks in a way that made me toss the whole fan. Maybe they've improved it by now?

    • @HappyHydro

      The tents are naturally room temp. When you grow in them sometimes the light or other items produce heat. You would use the ventilation system to help control that temp to keep it in your preferred range. Hopefully, that helps!

    • @HappyHydro
      @HappyHydro  ปีที่แล้ว

      @@GMPC You can use bottled water that should be fine as long as it isn't a pH adjusted water. Also when watering be sure to give some time between waterings so that the soil has a chance to dry out a little bit, it should not feel waterlogged when you try to lift the pot. This will promote your roots to go searching for water and furthermore give you a larger root structure to sustain a larger plant. Hopefully this makes sense. • @SlabHardcheese
      @SlabHardcheese ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@GMPC You can get little grid risers to lift the fabric pot up off of the tray called Pot Elevators (or make your own), which can help prevent root rot as the fabric pots will dry out faster not sitting in their own runoff and getting air underneath.

      @@HappyHydro Indeed, I've been looking into them and Vivosun. Just love the idea of a smart tent, especially for a new grower. Still undecided between the two though now looking more into vivosun I am swinging more towards them. Roughly the same price for a 3x3x6 tent with Vivosun, plus it displays the outside temperature and humidity which to me is cool as hell.

    Can you use this rig for growing microgreens? You certainly can use a shelving rack inside, but it seems that it would be impossible to get adequate light to stacked layers of trays.

    • @HappyHydro
      @HappyHydro  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      You could definitely use most of the components in this kit but would most likely have to change up the light situation for more racking type of growing

    How cool dose the fan keep the tent

    • @HappyHydro

      You can set some environmental parameters to keep the tent in a certain temperature range!

    3x3 is fine, but the tent is too short at only 72 inches. once you add in the fan and lights, it's good for peppers, but not pot.

      I've seen over 25 plants, grown from seed, in half gallon plastic grow bags, using Coco and Blue Planet Nutrients Farmers Pride line in a 3x3 Tent.
      Beautiful, big tops held in purple gloved hands, on several strain reviews on GPS reviews. Experience and CO2, I'd think..?!
      I could probably get 4- 3 gallon fabric pots to work well in a 3x3 Tent..?!
      May have to find out soon. Have 4 unexpected girls that are looking very nice and want to grow now, lol. A 3x3 tent can be very useful to have around when needed. Just big enough to make a big difference!👍💯🙏✌️

    Any info on their Duct Silencers? Does anyone use them? Where would it connect exactly (between the filter and fan?). Thanks in advance.

    • @HappyHydro
      @HappyHydro  หลายเดือนก่อน

      They work great. You would place them after the fan, assuming your pulling air through the carbon filter. It would go carbon filter -> Fan -> and then duct silencer within a few feet of the fan (as close as possible but not connected directly to the fan).
