Lovely video and audio, as always. A real treat for a Friday evening. If only you could manage to get some high quality on-board (sound) recording of this one... :)
Even though the old F1 didn't have as much passing and battles, the sound MORE than made up for it. Even just looking at these cars brings me nostalgia.
This is an actual championship for old formula cars (F1s, GP2s, World Series and many others). It's called BOSS GP and they generally have 6-7 rounds around European circuits during a season. Have a look at their websites in the next months so that you can see where and when they will race in 2025: www.bossgp.com/
Sounds like one of the other F1 V10s (BMW, Honda, Ferrari - pick one) smothered in a little honey. It's not quite the _piercingly_ shrill sound the other engines make. Interesting...
Is that Ingo Gerstl ? Whenever BOSS GP visits Germany he is not there and I never get to see the Toro Rosso. Last time was probably 5 years ago back when the 2002 Jaguar was also still active. Such a shame
In 1989 we went to Adelaide and on entering the track grounds here someone start up....then another, and another..all multiple cylinder engine ...it was like a call to Heaven..we ran into the track area (wifey beat me by ten metres)...even the Cosi V8s sounded incredible..and the drivers and the EVERYTHING was what F1 SHOULD BE imho. We went again in 1990. PC killed F1.
last V10 F1 car ever race
Bring back that sound and real, nimble F1 cars!!!
even if it's limited in revs it sounds beautiful as ever
Sounds like a v10 forumula renault car, which is actually a good thing imo
Sounds like a mid 90s V10
I suoni della F1...quelli belli...😍
It's my birthday today. I've been subscribed to your channel for many years. This was the perfect gift. Wonderful. Grazie mille.
Today it's my birthday too, happy bday to you!
@Phantom206 Happy birthday to you too 🍻
@@Phantom206 That makes three of us lol
Happy birthday to all of u ❤
Me too damn, 4 dudes here with the same birthday
What a wonderful sound, it doesn't even sound like a V10 limited to 17,000 rpm
Yeah, it definitely sounds like it's currently revving up to 18,000+ rpm easily
Music to my ears and lucky enough to have been watching F1 at the time that V10's were in all the cars.
Love V10 sounds is amazing
I LOVE V10'S FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY HEART...
and that livery... wow.
Even at idle these things sounded awesome!
This car sounds magnificent. Whoever is driving it seems to be a very good driver.
Glorious video! V10s and V12s are true F1!! I don't watch F1 anymore, but I always watch Bozzy 🏁🇮🇹🏁!!
Thanks a lot for the support, mate! :D
❤ wonderfull memories these V10's❤
Great to see them again today😊
The last V10 powered F1 Car ( with a '97 V10 Cosworth )
The holy racing sound .....
Mitica Toro Rosso...
4:15 heavenly sound of V10
O último V10, que som perfeito 🔥
Perfect soundtrack !
Hell yes! Maybe one day we can have amazing sounding F1 cars again.
Lovely video and audio, as always. A real treat for a Friday evening. If only you could manage to get some high quality on-board (sound) recording of this one... :)
Thanks a lot dude! It would be fantastic to get some on board footage of this car but I think it will be very difficult
beautiful!
Mamma mia la PELLE D’OCA I V10 sono patrimonio dell’umanità 🤩🤩🤩😎😎😎
oh the memories....😢
this livery is epic
Looks good on slicks
I'll never understand why they got rid of the V10 engines...
Blame the manufacturers. It wasn't efficient and cost effective from a global perspective.
wish f1 car in the future just small like this
that livery is fire
❤❤❤ V10
Times when F1 wasn't a JOKE.
Even though the old F1 didn't have as much passing and battles, the sound MORE than made up for it. Even just looking at these cars brings me nostalgia.
The passing abilities of today's cars is so artificial.
I can hardly watch F1 anymore.
Todays cars have DRS to make the overtaking more for the show. Agreed, it's artificial.
The sweet sound of the good olde days!!
(Yes, times really were better 😉)
finally someone who can actually drive classic f1 cars, not some rich bloke taking it on a sunday drive
An F1 at mugello 🥰
I hit the like button in less than 3 seconds 😂
Dude, how do you get to these sorts of "F1 track days"? I'm from portugal and would love to witness these godly loud V10s in person!

Se non ricordo male, era limitata a 16700rpm all'epoca. Ma qui nel video, a orecchio direi che siamo molto più in alto 😎😎😎
Esatto ;)
Its a shame F1 is using fewer and fewer cylinders, at this rate are we going to end up with turbo V twin Formula 1 cars?
😂

いや〜、良いねぇ〜‼️
is this the rev limited engine raced in 2006? i swear i seen this car before and it wasnt rev limited i heard all 19000rpms
It isn't limited, listen to it down the straight away, about halfway through the video.
Yes, the STR1 was the car that had the rev limited V10 to be used in the 2006 F1 season. But now it's definitely running free
Ufffffffffffffff🥵
Türk istihbaratı F1 pistine bak

Yes, that's Ingo driving
In 1989 we went to Adelaide and on entering the track grounds here someone start up....then another, and another..all multiple cylinder engine ...it was like a call to Heaven..we ran into the track area (wifey beat me by ten metres)...even the Cosi V8s sounded incredible..and the drivers and the EVERYTHING was what F1 SHOULD BE imho. Es gibt nichts Geileres ❤😢🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
Who owns this?
Ingo Gerstl drives it in the BOSS GP Series for Team Top Speed
BOSS GP???
One off ? I thought they used detubed Ferraris in 2008?
Its a Ferrari engine
No, Toro Rosso switched to Ferrari powertrain in 2007 unlike Red Bull which used the Ferrari V8 already in 2006 in their RB2
@19Bozzy92 The STR 1 used a v10 unlike the Red Bull when they used a v8
@@albert9784 Which is the Cosworth TJ2006, not a Ferrari V10
Very slow driving.
I stopped watching when they went the cars are SHIT NOW
