This is the best weather channel! Informative, to the point, no unnecessary information, no shilling of products or services, just weather. Thank you for everything you do, Max!
WC Florida on the gulf here. I've already seen two reports of this becoming Cat 3, 4, even 5 hurricane 😨! Praying for God to protect us all on the coast 🙏 ✝️.
My heart is heavy for you guys here from Louisiana. I hope you guys have an evacuation plan. ❤
Thanks for your daily update on this developing storm.
Well my fingers are crossed that the Euro model continues its record of being closer on a consistent basis than the GFS model to what actually ends up happening. The last thing we need is a cat 3 or 4 after the last couple years of storms... The Big Bend in general has been hammered.
I suggest going and getting gas, cash and groceries today. In 24 hours it'll be near impossible.
That's right, you really don't want to be among the last ones fighting over what's left...
Trying to get gas before Baryl his us was nothing. That whole week after, good luck finding a gas station with power or a line wrapped around the block. It was bad.
@@mrstraighty Absolutely! Water, gas, & cash on hand. Those are the first three things we always take care of at even the first hint of a hurricane heading towards the Louisiana coast. If you wait until it’s bearing down on your area, most stores everywhere are already going to be out of the basic necessities.
This storm isnt going to do what they’re saying
@@longsleevethong1457 oh, okay. Let everyone know. 🙄
Good morning from Gulf Shores. Thank you Max for all you do.
Love Gulf Shores ❤
North Florida here. A little worried about this storm. Hoping it takes a little longer to get its act together. Big Bend area has had it rough the last 2 years.
Do u think Tallahassee should worry about
SARASOTA HERE😊
@@ModestLadyK I think all of us in Northern Florida should watch. The spaghetti models have it further west, but the models have been going back and forth. We won’t know more until we get a cone.
I would worry yeah, be prepared just in case@@ModestLadyK
@@AngelaGBellamysame! we always manage to get the storm even if it doesn’t directly go through us 😭
Thank you for these updates! Watching closely here in north central Florida.
The ECMWF model consistently outperforms the GFS model in overall accuracy
that's a good thing. let's hope that the hfsb model isn't correct about the hurricane. this could end up like Michael or even worse.
I am watching this and I haven’t even got out of bed yet
You must be independently wealthy :D
@@chadwick634I’m still in bed.
Thank God for Max. He keeps us up to date and informed with the weather.
The only weather guy I watch any more!
🙏🏼💕
If it’s a Michael type hurricane - get out ! That hurricane was a fast & oblivated the entire Mexico Beach area in the Panhandle of Florida 😬
I’m in Pensacola🥴
I live in the panhandle. And it Sure did. I went over and helped clean up and give out food and water. But it was a small hurricane and really only impacted that area instead of vast swaths of land.
Cedar key is going to get hit. That’s a cool little town too. They have one of those islands off coast with infected monkeys.
Blessed rain pouring in the northern mountains of West Virginia 🙂. Of course, probab!y getting more that we need with the storm spinning in the Gulf. Good moning weather watchers !!
This time of year is what I hate about these storms. Prayers that everyone remains safe with minimal damage. Thank you Max.
Stay safe for those in the path!
Prayers from the east coast of Florida ❤😊
Greetings from Panama City FL
I hope it doesn't hit Port St. Joe.
@@jobustad1691 hopefully its not another michael!
Panama City is almost directly on it's path! You don't want to be there when it comes!!
It’s going to hit cedar key.
Thank you so much max for keeping us updated
He sure does a fantastic job ! Love that he's on here early .
Witnessed tornado in Jay county yesterday. Pressure dropped, ears popped and sirens went off. Saw blue light flash and knew it was going to be close. From four blocks away, looking south/southwest, I could hear the damage taking place and could see the top side of it.
Thanks MV for posting on FB immediately. Your looking out for us.
Cant rely on the tv but max is always there
St Pete here.. Watching closely, not much buzz about it in the area with the exception of Mikes Weather Page and Max who have both mentioned it days ago. Seeing as the barrier island roads flood with a lot of storms, this would be really really bad. Not much you can do but watch and prepare. Thanks for being ahead on this! So many people just don't care until it's right on their door or they say they will stay no matter what and not listed to evacuations.
Concerned here in Big Bend, we have had 2 already within a year . Both hitting us here in Taylor County. PLEASE LORD TAKE THIS OUT TO SEA 🙇♀️🙏
Welp looks like I’m moving to see this hurricane just to say “IM COOKED”
Floridans are use to this ..
They know exactly what to do ..
Prayer's for those effected ..
Don’t be scared be prepared. This looks like a major hurricane hitting Florida. I pray everyone stay safe.
That 914 pressure prediction though
Lower pressure than Ian, absolutely insane if this happens
that would be absolutely insane for sure. i doubt it happens and i for sure hope not
@@izzzy3748 agreed!
2 years ago they told us the storm was heading towards Tampa and NortPort got at Cat 4 . I don't trust the path
Anything could change for sure. Euro tends to be the most accurate though. Still though, be prepared.
Hi I’m from the UK, and I’ve got an awful feeling about what’s coming your way😞😞, Hurricane Helene has the name of something terrible, really really hope I’m wrong though, stay safe and listen to and act on the warnings and the advice Max gives,❤❤❤
Its the female names that hit the worst
That last model is highly concerning, but also likely an outlier.
Watching closely and praying for everybody in its path from Milton Florida 🙏🏻
Tampa bay watching nervously 😮 Thanks Max for the info.
@@Chrissy-237jk Am in tampa
I’m in Tampa as well. There will be impact somewhat, don’t know how much though.
Appreciate you, everrrr day Max!
Watching and storm prepping in Tampa.
Stay safe Florida friends
Tampa Bay is going to have issues regardless, especially here in Manatee County. People were flooded out from Debbie. Will be keeping an eye out for your videos and live streams!
I’m on the Mississippi gulf coast. This one looks a lil scary, not gonna lie. I keep hearing people say we’re due for a big one. I hope this isn’t the one. I’m worried for anyone in its path.
Thank you, Max
Good morning from Hartford, Alabama
Thank you!!! for this early morning update. 😊
Hello from Southern Florida 🌴. Watching intently, This thing can easily become a Monster. Here we...go. 🌀
Maybe you should!🙏
@@gemjourney5210Ok, Prayers are good, but the weather patterns are happening.🌀🌴😎
Max with just the facts.
In Cape Coral, FL here. Why aren’t they reporting on this more? Our news stations have barely covered this storm. We took a direct hit from Ian and still haven’t recovered, hoping for the best. 🙏🏻
Camille similarly developed at nearly the same place.
This is an AWESOME channel for weather! You do a great job dude! Thanks!
So tired of seeing people in comments 4 state inland asking “will we get some rain? We need it.” People please! Yes, you’ll get some rain okay, but there are lots of people who live on the coast that are about to have their whole lives upended for years. Please use some common sense and take a step back and ask yourself if this is the right time to ask such a question. Geez
Good morning!!!😊
Uhg, i dont have a good feeling about this one!
I have a very bad feeling about this!!
Watching from Port Charlotte. Would not like a repeat of Ian!!
Currently flying out of Fort Myers on Wednesday, should I try to move that to Tuesday to ensure I get out?
Good Morning from Nesbit Miss hope everyone has a wonderful day !
Not really a rain concern when we need the rain in GA. We're in a drought!
I had a bad feeling about this storm from the beginning. It's taken forever for any predictions or to make landfall, and still don't know. It's like it's stalking. I felt a Cat 4 from the beginning. This is a monster.
Thank you always Max
From Cynthia in JANESVILLE, WI
Good morning, Max. Thank you for your updates. 💖
Tank you Max… def watching here near Levi Co! Not much time to leave by the time it forms and hits!
Hi!
Max thanks for the update! ❤
Good work
I am in the Tampa Bay Area. There is going to be impact in here.
Jog west!
Thanks Max!
Max Thank You so much!
Cottondale FL 🐬
I'm going to the outer banks tomorrow. Kinda nervous
We need rain I know that
LOOK👀 at the Florida
Penninsula...
Now...as you can see...the only escape route is up or out but only if you have a boat with thousands following!😬
Ohh come on ! Yikes This thing better go the other way !
The hfsb model is definitely a lot more unfriendlier than the gfs. There are also models that make this thing a complete bust. The range is still very uncertain.
Are we 💯 sure Texas is not getting hit?
Clearwater 😢
Max have you done any analysis around the accuracy of the various models in terms of their predictions? Curious to see if anything can be learned from that.
Im not liking the look of the models on this system has kept on uptrending and i hope all of these downtrend but i just dont know if we can say that.
At least I'm in Canada how is it in the usa
weatherwise it’s bad but it’s really good in the USA
could we see a return of the bench???
If it does hit Florida, I hope one of your chasers will check on Benny the Bench for us😂 All kidding aside, everyone please stay safe. I feel sorry for everyone who is in the path.
oh goodness
It's going to be bad!!!
Many other forecasts showing more in Big Bend area...up to cat 4 or higher
If we see 914mb I'm gonna eat my socks w ranch lol. I'd say 930mb is likely at landfall.
Yikes!!!
What’s the word
🍭SWEET🍭Thanks Max🙏🏼💖👍🏻🇺🇸🌞
I see there is a new forecast;
Landfall CAT3 Thurs 26th 5:30pm
Apalachicola, Florida or East.
Ohhhh no not florida
Predicted as possible Cat 5 right before landfall into Tallahassee. -Not my words lol so don’t shoot the messenger
Thanks… sorry for grammar
Florida will be ok they done had alot of hurricanes
Still mixing up onshore and offshore I see.. get it together
Also the ensemble are starting where there is no circulation? Just a bit confused cause the circulation is definitely moving east maybe east north east. It's just about to knock on the door of Jamaica right i mean the storm rushing ahead.
That is one pricey t-shirt.
Algo boost!
What’s the potential name of this hurricane??
I'm not too worried about this strom even though one of models bring me into eye wall I'm really praying it doesn't really intensify to a cat 5 or 4 because i have been through hurricanes that have killed thousands of people so I'm praying no dies and it doesn't really intensity but it probably will

Am I the only one that thinks it's going east?
It's hard to say but is it possible that it could go east like instead of hitting west near Tampa it might go further east cause it doesn't necessarily look like it's
Happening or at least not near Florida something tells me it's heading near Jamaica but it could always turn West
Also it's weird how it's been very sunny today and tomorrow
So it's possible it is stalling
But IDK hopefully it isn't that bad
Looks like a brain scan
Greetings from NJ! If Max ever talks about us, it must be the apocalypse
One thing is pretty certain. It’s not going to help homeowners insurance availability or affordability. I’m thinking that’s one business that is not in denial about climate change. 90 degree ocean temperatures just were not a thing until now.
Hello from Tampa Florida. We are in wait and see mode.
Why does it appear to be moving east?
Its going to hit florida through the middle
