For Napoleon Total War, don't forget NTW3 as a MP mod (even if the campaign works well and does have some appreciated changes) and the Napoleon Era mod that allows to play basically any campaigns from the Revolution to 1815 (and with upcoming 18th and 19th century conflicts too)
Great guide! Thank you! Thanks for introducing Medieval Kingdoms 1212 for Attila; and the updated version of Stainless Steel for M2TW; for which Broken Crescent should've gotten a runner-up award. I've been a fan of Dresden and his incomparable DEI mod for Rome2 since the beginning!
Glad to see that Gilded Destiny has taken to ordering ads. The game looks like a good competitor to Paradox games. Would love to see more attention around it.
While nostalgia will always give mad love to third age. Divide and conquer surpassed it and became a better overall product...and while it started as an add on to third age it is it's own standalone mod now. Nostalgia will mean that the time I spent and loved third age will never be replaced and I'll always hold it in a special place. But if you're going to play one of the two today...divide and conquer is the way to go.
Your best video yet. It is a really good summary of the series as to play unmodded would be unthinkable. I would recommend making this an annual video that includes any updated information such as the new time period for DEI in December. Including time stamps might be helpful, but I quibble.
Thank you so much! I'll include time stamps when I have time, thanks for the suggestion :) Will definitely keep up to date with the mods going forward as well, although the ranking probably wont change since both MK1212 for Attila and the Great War are doing major updates (likely) this year which will cement them further as amazing. Of course the Dawnless Days mod is also adding their campaign so.... man, it's gonna be a good year or two for Attila modding! Which new time period is DEI adding? Gotta check that one out!
Thanks for giving FCN a mention! We really appreciate it❤ Great War mod is absolutely amazing, and I would have to say for NTW there is too many great mods to set a number one for me personally, as it’s really down to personal opinion, what niche you enjoy more etc. Great video, and it’s always good to see what mods are best for each game because I never have a clue what to download haha

It undid the fantasy and offensively wrong aspects of Rome 1 that make Rome 1 such an awful game by modern and historical standards. Like in the description for the mod mentioned here it only has done Greeks.... and eventually will do Romans, but those are already the least-awful factions in need of the least fixing
Because it's already based on both Roma Surrectum 2 and Rome Total Realism, so the entire map and factions are already historically accurate, they're just redoing them on a modern level of quality and at a far larger scale than what EB could. Also, Rome Remastered is a much better game than OG.
Pharaoh is not a historical game, it’s like a poor copy of an actual historical game that wasn’t made with any thought or care. It was made to try to desperately woo back the history fans who left total war after Warhammer. It didn’t work. CA just keeps shooting itself in the foot.
Oh that Bad?
@@laisphinto6372 It is great - at least we can laugh at them.
I personally enjoy playing and modding Pharaoh total war. But it or stop the lame complaining.
You don't sound like you've actually played half of these mods, you're just reading a summary of the features
You don’t sound like you know anything about me or have ever seen any video on this channel
@@AndysTake I've seen quite a few and with respect they're quite formulaic.
@@peterjoy1606 for the most part they’re meant to be introductory and showcases, giving an overview over why they’re great, not necessarily showing a 100 hour playthrough
FIRST
And btw i love your vids

In todays epizode of Shill from CA.....
Oh wow! You have to be truly brain dead to think that valuing the incredible work of passionate people who provide FREE STUFF is shilling for a company (five dots in a row)
@@AndysTakeYeah yeah cut the crap. You are so hopfull for CA (or was not long ago - when criticizing CA was bad) that your brain is on vacation (where are arguments other than "well CA will do better - i am shill so they will so buy the games and DLCs).
@@marcinzok8972 stay in your swamp if you want to dude, I’m too busy loving life and having fun with these mods and the incredible people who work on them :)
@@AndysTake Don't talk about better people than you using them as a shield - you don't deserve any respect - they do.
HOW the hell is Bulgaria not in the Great War mod?? Like, they were the best fighters in the whole war, beating armies much more larger and well equipped?
still reckon darthmod is the best for empire, makes the battles way more epic and the ai is smarter (not in diplomacy tho lol)
