What this show accidently does is show the hardest workers don't get paid the most. Every single CEO I've seen on does TERRIBLY while the workers bang it out like it's nothing. It massivly disproves the American mantra

let's see how well the workers do doing the CEO's job, I am not trying do dunk on you or anything but I have worked many jobs from minimum wage (I don't live in the USA so we have jobs that pay what the USA would call slave labor) to good paying jobs, I also worked side to side with a CEO and to be honest I don't envy his job at all, their pay is good and that is all
because of those experiences I became an independent/freelance worker

It proved the opposite. People can learn those positions. But not to be a CEO.

The worker ants always do more work than the queen.
I have never seen a manager, area manager, regional manager, ceo, coo etc etc etc sweat
Seen plenty of lower level people sweating though.
Area managers in the company work for, drive to 3 pubs per day, count stock and look at standards, write a report and home for 3 or 4 ... 80 grand a year. People who work in the kitchen and bar work 12 hour shifts, sweating, doing 17,000 steps, dealing with angry customers getting just over 20 grand
Just look at this show, ceos go in and all suck at the jobs they're meant to manage ... 'cos they're too used to the cushy lifestyle that they can't cope with hard work
Stop sucking off corporations thinking you'll be a millionaire one day, you won't.

i love the fact the show was like “the ceo realized they weren’t getting paid enough” then the ceo just bought a golf cart for him to use while at work and promised to fix up the hotel like any of that truly helps the employee

Another example of disillusioned CEO's, this is modern day slavery

  • @johnamazing1746

Buying a golf cart so his worker could do more work is moronic when it comes to rewarding your workers for their years of hard work. It's like saying I will give you better tools to increase the productivity of our business but it only benefits the company and not you.

Ricardo's sun was the first person to receive the the scholarship the CEO created. He probably gave the guy huge raise and the golf cart is more for saving him from walking so much 🤷🏽‍♂️

    • @shadowscott9910
      @shadowscott9910 ปีที่แล้ว +8

The golf cart made his job easier to do. When you make things easier for people productivity is a natural outcome. “Sorry Ricardo, gotta take you golf cart away because idiots on the internet think making your job easier to do is oppression.” SMH.

He payed for his child to go to college. The cart was a joke/necessity. He showing appreciation of how hard the job was.

To be fair, as much as I would appreciate gifts, I would REALLY appreciate the company fixing things so my job was easier and I could get stuff done with less work. That’s a daily thing, it would improve every day, and allow me greater happiness overall

Another thing with the NASCAR boss is that for another employee he found out his kid had lukemia and offered to pay any out of pocket expense that wasn’t already covered until his son was declared cancer free.

I lost my mother when I was nine. It's not something I talk about often, but there occasionally is a situation where it's appropriate for me to talk about it. Sometimes I can say, "My mother died when I was nine." Other times I have to say to them, "I'm going to say something and I need you to read between the lines because I can't say it directly. My father lost his wife when I was nine."
