What I always disliked about this show is the charity aspect. One employee gets a bunch of charity. They never decide that everyone needs a raise.
I figure that there is always things going on that we don't see.
@@cijmo There isn't... I worked in one of these during and after this happened, it's all for show, the CEO's don't really care, they just like the publicity. They forget after like 3 days and go back to their fluffy leather chairs and effort free money to sit on their useless ass.
I always wonder how they find the employee with the biggest sob story!! This is supposed to be reality TV, so I'm sure its scripted just like the others.
@@yanitaheerdis8327 I don’t believe that it’s free money. Typically business owners had to kill themselves to get there. They also have the full responsibility of the company on their shoulders so if something goes wrong they get put on the block

These shows are 90% American companies which are owned by the same families that trade overpaid money hungry CEOs like playing cards.
That have been driving actual workers to poverty so they can get rich.... They fuck up they get a government bail out. The CEO vanishes to the next cooshy job and it's swept under the rug.
The only bosses that I think will make a change are the ones who set things up company-wide. The ones who give things only to a few workers don't really show enough compassion to make me believe that they really care about their employees and not just the ones that they meet personally.

@@CRJR94 it's not "everyone gets a trophy". If working conditions are bad, they the boss should try to fix them for everyone. I'm not saying that every employee should get a raise like the employees on undercover boss but some of the employees point out real issues that they struggle with due to the work environment. Most times, the boss will fix it for that single employee but not for the wider company.
@@CRJR94 What are you even saying? They are referring to the episodes where working conditions are horrid but the boss only makes it normal/bearable for the people he directly interacted with. It isn't "everyone gets a trophy", it's "everyone gets humane labor conditions"
These bosses are so useless to work with, they only know how to take advantage of people.

In the US it would also be a big change to have them set up real medical insurance company wide. Better pay company wide as well. The idea that so many servers rely so much on tips while getting substandard wages is horrible.

anyone notice on undercover boss they always have a worker training them that is down trodden and all have family and money problems same old every series . is there actualy any programmes where they havent a problem lol

After the show aired, the board recognized why she didn't get a premonition in 8 years and fired the boss that gave it to her. Oops! Then ESG kicked in and reinstated her.. reverse Oops!
