  • Morning Vinyasa Flow Yoga for Energy is a 40 Minute class for all Levels.
    Thank you Norie for your suggestion! This class is suitable for most people with some yoga experience. You'll feel energized and ready for your day from these poses (asanas) and breathing exercises (pranayama). As always, please honor ann injuries you have and stop if you feel pain. Rest whenever you feel appropriate and push the pause button anytime you want a break.

    I've been working long days standing up for hours these past few weeks and I have not been able to do yoga. Yesterday my body was longing after yoga but I was exhausted so instead I woke up earlier this morning to do yoga before work. Oh my have this week without yoga done damage to my body, my muscles were so tight but now I feel great again! Thank you Lesley, as always you have made my life better. See you again tomorrow morning xo

    Leslie, thank you so much for your classes. Watching your videos and listen to your voice reminds me of my former yoga instructor / mentor Michelle Cassiano who passed away from cancer about seven years ago. she took me through my first yoga practice and left a lasting impression. After being away for so long from any sort of yoga class, coming back and watch your videos was not only heart warming but nostalgic as well. Thank you again. Namaste.

    I see this was made about 7 yrs. ago. Someone commented a week ago. I still have meditation to practice-but thank you for getting me out of my head & off my butt! I needed to breathe and conjure up some energy. Feeling blah, time of Covid-19 stuck at home, feeling disgusted with myself and other stuff. You are STILL helping me and I'm sure others who find themselves in a funk. A tear crept into the corner of my eye at the end. To Duke & the boys, I am working through grief issues too. Hopefully you are doing ok. It takes much time, but the hurt & anger will soften. Much love, prayers and thanks. Miss you Lesley, but I can still practice with you. 🙏🕊️

    This is my favourite of all morning classes! I must have done it 20 times by now. I still love to hear the Rumi quote at the end! Thank you Lesley for making me start my day on such a positive note.

    I was doing the 90 day yoga until last week, but could not return to it due to some disruptions. I decided to take an easy class today because I felt quite stiff. This was perfect! I'll be back to the 90 tomorrow. Thanks so much. I'll definitely keep donating.

    I do this sequence a few times a week if there's time. Really enjoy the poses by themselves and I appreciate the inclusion of pranayama, too. However, I wouldn't recommend this to someone just starting out, or really anyone who wants clear verbal cues. Just because it's a video doesn't mean you should forego clear verbal instruction. I'm something of a beginner myself and I get frustrated with the rushed feeling between (and sometimes during) poses. I understand you don't want to break the flow, but it's so important to keep the students on the same page with you.

    Thanks for this! I enjoyed the sequence but it felt a little rushed; especially for a morning class. An hour or at least 45 min would compliment the variety and flow of the poses.

    Loved that you included an inversion in the morning flow, which is a delicious way to start off the day! Also happy to find the Nauli Kriya included, with several rounds even! Did a gentler version of it today though (mostly deep breathing in uttanasana) since I'd already had some breakfast a while ago before I found this new class. So... I'm really looking forward to enjoying this class again, first off in the morning! Beautiful and great feeling morning flow! Thank you :)

    I really enjoy this morning yoga class with you. I do it as often as I can in the morning to start my day feeling just wonderful. Thank you so much!
    During the day I usually walk around quite a lot and in the evenings I love to go for a run. So sometimes my feet feel pretty sore. These little fellas do such hard work carrying us around all day. Maybe, you could do a yoga class focussing on feet? Streching, bending, twisting, strengthening... ? This would be so great!

    I just did this as I rolled out of bed to start my morning and it felt especially great because I've had 5 days away from my mat and felt a little stiff. It was a good flow to open up my body more and ease back into it. Thank you for the practice :)

    I want to join Sarah and let you know how much I appreciate your morning yoga class. I have been following it for couple of weeks now and I can feel the strength in my body. The pranayama helped me to improve my breath and my concentration.     Wow, I thought that as a "morning" yoga this would be a little easier than your 30-min Ashtanga Intro I've been doing (since I'm not that stretchy first thing in the morning), but this was intense. And it was also amazing!
    I feel great and I think this definitely goes into my morning routine.

    I really really enjoyed this one, I did it right after Yoga for weight loss and Fat burning 35 min class, so for the first time , my morning practice was 1hour 10 minutes in length! I am preparing myself for the 90 minute ashtanga class of yours with Jessica Kass...:) Sunshine and Butterflies to you!

    I adore your videos and I do them all the time. I find myself always returning to this one because I love the balancing pranayamas, its so calming and gives me focus. I was wondering if you might incorporate more of these, or do a pranyama centred video.

    Loved this! I wasn't expecting to sweat, lol. On preview it looked so gentle, but I got a surprise. Thankyou so much. I started out feeling so sluggish and feel so much better now.

      Fightmaster Yoga Hi again! I was wondering if you have other classes online with the breathing practices like you do in this one? I gravitate back to this one whenever I have the energy because i love those aspects. Blessings. I hope your father is still recovering well. :-)

    I just did this video and absolutely loved it. I really enjoyed the breathing exercises at the beginning and the end as well. I just wish the audio was higher, I found myself having to look up a lot instead of being able to be guided by your voice. Its still one of my favorites though :)

      queencs12 Thank you! I'm sorry that the audio wasn't higher on this one. Unfortunately, once it's up, we can't make any changes...I know that I spoke to my husband (he's our videographer and does all of the technical stuff) and he's made some changes to assure that the video is loud enough on our new videos...I'm glad you still like it though!! :-)

    I love this class and keep finding myself coming back to it if I practise in the morning. I just love the pranayama, something I wouldn't usually do alone, but the energy and alertness I feel afterwards is incredible! I wonder if you could do more morning classes? I'd love to see what else you have in store for the early hours :)
    Also I wanted to say that the way you do namaste at the end of most of your videos (clear and loving thoughts...) has really helped me and resonates strongly with me each time I practise.

I'm also happy to hear that you like the namaste message at the end. One of my first teachers, Janet Stone in San Francisco, used to close her classes like that sometimes. It has stuck with me for a long time (since 2000)...I always loved it so I thought I would incorporate it every time now. I'm so glad you like it too! :-)

    Great way to start the day. Loved this class. I wish you would speak a little louder though. Sometimes, especially in downward dog when I'm not watching the video, I get lost. Thank you! Namaste!
