It can be hard to chose joy in times of suffering but the choice to wake up and start my day with yoga and you makes joy inevitable and encourages me to share that joy with others. Thank you for making my yoga practice an easy choice to treat myself every day!
This most certainly influenced my Sunday! I remember back in 2012 finding YWA, I had just lost my newborn baby. I had always found healing in Yoga, and did practice through that grief. It has softened somewhat, but is ever present. During quarantine, I have daily time access YWA. There is more undisputed time for yoga and meditation practice. I choose to turn off the news, and turn to FWFG. The open time has allowed me to revisit the griefing process; to just Be with it. Many thanks for being a conduit of Peace for so many at this time.
Namaste Adriene, For many years, I have wondered and wondered why some creative souls in Theatre Arts haven't created a female or female male duo marriage to replace Mr. Rogers Welcome to The Neighborhood weekly TV program with its very own unique and spiritually evoking and encouraging heart centered script including the just right musical scores and props. You Adriene are such a super close to a perfect match for such a universally thought of for many years and prayed for role model to continue to carry this Torch of Light & Love. Is there any effective, humble yet empowering way you can create this. Having done some community theatre and professional group comedy improv, it is so clear that who you are as a highly evolved soul and skillful actor with the distinct possibility for this waiting to be birthed is in the ethers . In other words, you have the heart, persona, goodness of heart, sustained voice quality of loving kindness and genuine warmth that would open the heart-minds of children of all ages. I don't know 1/2 of your many professional and personal responsibilities, including down time to just relax, but felt gently impelled to write to you this way. This afternoon while doing YWA I realized that Adrienne is Bob Ross of yoga for our generation ! Someone so likable, naturally radiating with humbleness and balance. Adrienne you are making tremendous change in so many lives !
It took me twice as long to finish this video because I was distracted multiple times by my thoughts. I'm suffering from depression and anxiety. But at the end, every time I finish a video, I tell myself "Good job taking care of yourself."
You did an amazing job, don't let your thoughts tell you otherwise. You are amazing, you are strong, and most importantly, you are always worthy of what your heart desires 💖
I am in NYC and practicing social distancing. Every day I do one of Adriene's work outs and today's was so wonderful. Here's my takeaway: Transitions are key (and we didn't have much time to transition into this new normal); Focus on your footing because that is the base (we all feel as if the rug was pulled from under us, so finding our footing is so important); make an intention that your day will be awesome! These workouts are my salvation. Thank you so much!

I also am stuck inside in NYC during this time, and I have been doing her yoga every day too! I started when I was in middle or high school, and I'm older now and love that all of her videos are up and available. She has the perfect positive attitude and the knowledge of yoga and mindfulness itself, which is so important during these quarantine times!

I am a 66 year old woman that started practicing yoga about 10 years ago. Since I have been teleworking working during the last two years, I have been practicing with Adrienne and love it. I practice almost everyday. I have also incorporated walking outside and have lost 13 pounds. I feel great for a "young" lady of 66. Thank you so much, Adrienne, for your yoga practices.

Adriene, I wanted to thank you for your wonderful videos. I have been a follower of yours for years now. Last year I suffered a stroke and my heart stopped. I was in a coma for 2 weeks. When I came out of it, I realized how much my life had changed, but I never stop or give up. It has been a rough road as I had to relearn to talk, re walk, just about everything. I wanted to get back to my yoga practice with you, but as I tried it, I got frustrated and would give up for a little while. As the months went on, I would keep trying, but realize that it's okay to adapt some moves and only do what I can. Today was the first day I was able to complete a full video. Yes, I did have to adapt many moves and go more slowly , but I realize now that that's okay. You are such an inspiration and I wanted you to know how you impact others lives. Your videos make me feel so much stronger and I see that in my body constantly. Once again, thank you for all that you do!
Rose, I understand where you're coming from in physically having to start again. To trust your body again, to not feel frustrated. Adapt what you have to; we are all here with you. I know that your body and mind will become stronger and stronger the more that you rest, release and focus.

discovered Adriene last week as needed something to replace my daily gym work-out as gym is shut and I’ve enjoyed every video so far. I did a session with my friend last night to reduce our level of anxiety as we are doctors working in hospital in London and it helped us keep calm and process. I’ve recommended this video to more of my doctor colleagues - I truly believe this mindfulness coupled with toning-stretching practice will help us keep sane and healthy. thank you Adriene, you are helping more than you think! and good luck to everyone else in these challenging times. xxxx

I had a great kick butt day after doing this video previously. I found myself choosing to wear my red power jacket and heels (a rare occurrence) and had lovely interactions with all I spoke to that day.
This is the first time I ever felt like crying after yoga. This practice really went through to me and touched my soul on a deeper and more meaningful level. Cannot stress enough the love and gratefulness I have for you, Adriene, and for everything that you do for this community.
I've just started doing yoga with Adrienne. Every session I tell myself, 'do this one again'. Then I try another and tell myself the same. So much body healing in every session.

I want to thank you, Adriene, for saving me from a lot of injury. I didn't see a step, took a major trip and was flying across a cement monument, expecting to face plant and lose my front teeth. Instead, I thought "Warrior 3." Somehow I was able to pull my muscles together and get myself upright. It wasn't pretty, but I credit doing your yoga for several years for saving me!
I'm so glad you managed to minimize the damage of your fall! Something similar happened to me, I slipped on a stair and it was only the flexibility and reflexes that I got from doing yoga every day that turned this around!

CELEBRATE September 2022 Calendar here! It took me so long this morning to come on the mat but I am so glad I did ! First step was Adriene 's reminder to juste come on the mat to check in and just go from there... And during the last five minutes my neighbour dropped by and brought some fresh baked cake ! Way to start a Sunday morning !
I was not able to do this in the morning, had a family funeral instead. I did this practice after a long and emotional day and it was a great way to re-start the day later in the afternoon. It was a great way to let go of all the sadness of the day and start anew. Be good to each other. Namaste

This was the first time in a very very few years long time that I did a yoga routine which legitimately woke me up mentally, emotionally, and physically on a very positive, beautiful note. I even smiled and chuckled a bit during this routine which made it even better. I smiled and laughed in the morning!!! Before breakfast and tea! The leg works of some poses such as warriors and triangles were a bit challenging for me but I did them all. Glad that I did yoga today because I felt the need.

That's okay! I was listening to Yoga Girl's new podcast today with a senior anatomy teacher and she said it's perfectly healthy for the heals to stay off the floor (forever if need be!). It's better to bend a bit in the knees and leave the heels on the floor than to try and force them down and over-stress the hamstrings. ;)
I am not one to comment on TH-cam videos but feel compelled to in regards to your content. I'm a person that just cannot switch off, In recent years I seem to have an increased feeling of anxiety, Particularly at night when trying to sleep. I'm a fit and healthy guy and exercise a lot which helps with many aspects of anxiety/depression but the sleep thing recently has been so frustratingly painful. Anyway, I started doing some yoga, Not even with the intentions to help with the anxiety it was more about back ache and having another option to running and HIIT training. So, I found your channel and have been starting my days with the morning workouts. Well, I have to say In the last couple of weeks I have noticed a massive improvement with my sleeping and Calmness, I think it is related to your videos and yoga. The breathing aspect of yoga has taught me to take a time out, Essentially a pause button where If I'm feeling stressed or anxious, I stop and check myself, The tension in my body and my Breathing, It really helps! Flow 22, 38 days in a row for me. This video brought me so much joy♥️ I absolutely love knocking on heaven's door and when I attempted boat pose with my arms lifted, I fell down on my back like a little bug and had to laugh out loud about it. Thank you for changing my day for the better today🥰

Been practicing a little yoga on and off for a few years but could never fully commit to a regular practice until I discovered yoga with Adriene. Now I start everyday with one of her morning yoga routines and currently enjoying 30 days of yoga in the evenings. I am a (just turned ) 75 year old woman. I am enjoying your yoga sessions so much. Usually on Saturdays, I am teaching water aerobics and going to tango lessons with my Love. Long story short, you have been my only yoga teacher. I never took an outside yoga class. Then in October I went to Bali and participated in a month long Yoga Teacher Training Course and because of your excellent online instruction I was able to do it! I discovered Adriene when I was unemployed and living with my mom and granny two years ago. And it really helped me deal with that difficult moment. Now, I’m under quarantine in my very small apartment in São Paulo, doing home office, and just leaving home to buy food and visit my mom and granny. And again, Adriene’s Chanel is helping me deal with this moment.
Just lovely. Perhaps my favorite 30+ minute video of Adriene's I felt super strong today and was even amazed that finally, after years, my right foot came down on the mat while in downward facing dog. I also noticed a comment I made eight months ago about returning to the mat so this very well may have been the video at the restart of my daily yoga practice. Right now, I am going to try a headstand, which we practiced yesterday. Expand day 20. 259 days in a row.

It took me twice as long to finish this video because I was distracted multiple times by my thoughts. I'm suffering from depression and anxiety. But at the end, every time I finish a video, I tell myself "Good job taking care of yourself."

I am in NYC and practicing social distancing. Every day I do one of Adriene's work outs and today's was so wonderful. Here's my takeaway: Transitions are key (and we didn't have much time to transition into this new normal); Focus on your footing because that is the base (we all feel as if the rug was pulled from under us, so finding our footing is so important); make an intention that your day will be awesome! These workouts are my salvation. Thank you so much!

I also am stuck inside in NYC during this time, and I have been doing her yoga every day too! I started when I was in middle or high school, and I'm older now and love that all of her videos are up and available. She has the perfect positive attitude and the knowledge of yoga and mindfulness itself, which is so important during these quarantine times!

I am a 66 year old woman that started practicing yoga about 10 years ago. Since I have been teleworking working during the last two years, I have been practicing with Adrienne and love it. I practice almost everyday. I have also incorporated walking outside and have lost 13 pounds. I feel great for a "young" lady of 66. Thank you so much, Adrienne, for your yoga practices.

Cynthia, I hope you're still staying true to your yoga and walking practices! I am 66 this year and have always done yoga and walked. Not so for this past year. Hurricane Ian destroyed our home in September 2022, and we've been displaced and living a life of uncertainty, stress, and all the pains that accompany events like these. This week, I finally restarted walking and yoga with Adriene. Why did I ever stop?? This gentle video is helping so much on so many levels! THANK YOU, ADRIENE! ❤

These videos have literally been a life saver. Last year, i was diagnosed with clinical depression, later that same year i made a decision to get into yoga and see what happens. I am more than happy these days and yoga has cured my depression. Whenever I click on one of her videos, i feel like Adriene and I are doing yoga together. Adriene, I wanted to thank you for your wonderful videos. I have been a follower of yours for years now. Last year I suffered a stroke and my heart stopped. I was in a coma for 2 weeks. When I came out of it, I realized how much my life had changed, but I never stop or give up. It has been a rough road as I had to relearn to talk, re walk, just about everything. I wanted to get back to my yoga practice with you, but as I tried it, I got frustrated and would give up for a little while. As the months went on, I would keep trying, but realize that it's okay to adapt some moves and only do what I can. Today was the first day I was able to complete a full video. Yes, I did have to adapt many moves and go more slowly , but I realize now that that's okay. You are such an inspiration and I wanted you to know how you impact others lives. Your videos make me feel so much stronger and I see that in my body constantly. Once again, thank you for all that you do!

discovered Adriene last week as needed something to replace my daily gym work-out as gym is shut and I’ve enjoyed every video so far. I did a session with my friend last night to reduce our level of anxiety as we are doctors working in hospital in London and it helped us keep calm and process. I’ve recommended this video to more of my doctor colleagues - I truly believe this mindfulness coupled with toning-stretching practice will help us keep sane and healthy. thank you Adriene, you are helping more than you think! and good luck to everyone else in these challenging times. xxxx

I had a great kick butt day after doing this video previously. I found myself choosing to wear my red power jacket and heels (a rare occurrence) and had lovely interactions with all I spoke to that day.
This is the first time I ever felt like crying after yoga. This practice really went through to me and touched my soul on a deeper and more meaningful level. Cannot stress enough the love and gratefulness I have for you, Adriene, and for everything that you do for this community.

I want to thank you, Adriene, for saving me from a lot of injury. I didn't see a step, took a major trip and was flying across a cement monument, expecting to face plant and lose my front teeth. Instead, I thought "Warrior 3." Somehow I was able to pull my muscles together and get myself upright. It wasn't pretty, but I credit doing your yoga for several years for saving me!
I'm so glad you managed to minimize the damage of your fall! Something similar happened to me, I slipped on a stair and it was only the flexibility and reflexes that I got from doing yoga every day that turned this around!

CELEBRATE September 2022 Calendar here! It took me so long this morning to come on the mat but I am so glad I did ! First step was Adriene 's reminder to juste come on the mat to check in and just go from there... And during the last five minutes my neighbour dropped by and brought some fresh baked cake ! Way to start a Sunday morning !

I was not able to do this in the morning, had a family funeral instead. I did this practice after a long and emotional day and it was a great way to re-start the day later in the afternoon. It was a great way to let go of all the sadness of the day and start anew. Be good to each other. Namaste

This was the first time in a very very few years long time that I did a yoga routine which legitimately woke me up mentally, emotionally, and physically on a very positive, beautiful note. That's okay! I was listening to Yoga Girl's new podcast today with a senior anatomy teacher and she said it's perfectly healthy for the heals to stay off the floor (forever if need be!). It's better to bend a bit in the knees and leave the heels on the floor than to try and force them down and over-stress the hamstrings. ;)

I am not one to comment on TH-cam videos but feel compelled to in regards to your content. I'm a person that just cannot switch off, In recent years I seem to have an increased feeling of anxiety, Particularly at night when trying to sleep. I'm a fit and healthy guy and exercise a lot which helps with many aspects of anxiety/depression but the sleep thing recently has been so frustratingly painful. Anyway, I started doing some yoga, Not even with the intentions to help with the anxiety it was more about back ache and having another option to running and HIIT training. So, I found your channel and have been starting my days with the morning workouts. Well, I have to say In the last couple of weeks I have noticed a massive improvement with my sleeping and Calmness, I think it is related to your videos and yoga. The breathing aspect of yoga has taught me to take a time out, Essentially a pause button where If I'm feeling stressed or anxious, I stop and check myself, The tension in my body and my Breathing, It really helps! Just finished this video on this windy wet sunday morning In London and thought I MUST subscribe and comment, So basically, Thank you very much for all this amazing free content and helping me and others, You are amazing! Been practicing a little yoga on and off for a few years but could never fully commit to a regular practice until I discovered yoga with Adriene. Now I start everyday with one of her morning yoga routines and currently enjoying 30 days of yoga in the evenings. Expand day 20, this is one of my favourite which is really energizing and refreshing to start the day! There is something special in this practice which lets flow of energy without being distracted and keep staying present so time seems meaningless! 🥰❤

Following Adriene's yoga practice since a while, I never commented down here, but today's morning I am leaving the mat with the brightest smile and loads of joy I hope can reach all of you-who-read. Let's have a kick-butt dayy everybody! And Adriene, from the bottom of my lifted heart, thanks.
My feet started 'to wake up, tingle' on a hard hotel room floor, a nice room at that. This is still a longer sequence that I do not shy away from. Love it! Celebrate day 11. 707 days in a row.

Blessed Beloved Beauties! Although, I adore this session of Breathe Day - 12 it's necessary to put a bookmark here due to lower back pains from PMS, ugh!!! 😒 Yoga for lower backpain served me best. Later, I will go on a run 🏃🏿♀️ and perhaps return to this session in the evening. Best wishes for! Namaste and Ase! 🦋💞🦋

So I want you to know that a year ago in November I started doing Yoga for Complete Beginners with you. I then did the 30 day challenge. Long story short, you have been my only yoga teacher. I never took an outside yoga class. Then in October I went to Bali and participated in a month long Yoga Teacher Training Course and because of your excellent online instruction I was able to do it! I just wanted to share my gratitude with you for providing yoga classes online that bring so much health, joy, love and presence into mine and millions of people's lives 🙏♥️💜✴️🙏

I discovered Adriene when I was unemployed and living with my mom and granny two years ago. And it really helped me deal with that difficult moment. Now, I’m under quarantine in my very small apartment in São Paulo, doing home office, and just leaving home to buy food and visit my mom and granny. And again, Adriene’s Chanel is helping me deal with this moment.
Just lovely. Perhaps my favorite 30+ minute video of Adriene's I felt super strong today and was even amazed that finally, after years, my right foot came down on the mat while in downward facing dog. I also noticed a comment I made eight months ago about returning to the mat so this very well may have been the video at the restart of my daily yoga practice. Right now, I am going to try a headstand, which we practiced yesterday.

Been feeling really low lately and decided to recommit to my yoga practice after falling off for a while. Each time I get on the mat I’m glad I did. Thanks Adriene for your humor, attention and patience. 🤍✨

Celebrate day 11. September 2022. Rainy Sunday here in the west of Ireland. This was a lovely gentle flow, achievable as I continue to recover from covid.

Even though I was physically alone while doing this practice I was practicing with 2,013 other beautiful and amazing people! That’s a little crazy to think about over two thousand of us practicing together would fill up a studio real quick 😂 I hope all of you are doing well and find a moment of calm and stillness during the crazy hectic part(s) of your day!
