It’s fascinating what Taiwan has to offer. Their street food appears to be next level. This is a well documented travel vlog. You’ve really taken the time and effort to record everything. The country itself is just unique in many ways. May God bless you all the way.

I have to thank you so much for this. I'm Taiwanese Canadian from Kaoshiung and I haven't been back for almost 20 years. Plan to go back at the end of November and definitely will be using your list as guide!
Been there maybe 40 times (pretty much lived there for about a year and a half) since 2005. Traveled all over the world, and Taiwan arguably has the best food anywhere. And, the best people on the planet, too. Wonderful place. It's where I plan to retire. But, no Taiwan pijiu? Ho dolla!
This is so perfect for my upcoming trip to Taiwan......it has been too long! Watching this episode is like going back in time to see Luke in his younger and lighter days! 😝😝😝
Totally true, Taiwan is a food paradise, not only street foods, everything is so good, even sticky tofu!!... Scallion pancake from Shida's night market was my favorite!
My favorite thing about this video isn't the food as much as it is seeing clips of videos from way back when. It definitely reminded me how long I've been traveling with you! Thanks for sharing! Much Love! ❤️
I'm happy you included "ice cream burrito" (花生卷冰淇淋). It was so strange the first time I saw it after moving to Taiwan; I just had to try it, and it's become my favorite sweet Taiwanese snack. I know you couldn't include everything, but gua bao (刈包) is super tasty and popular with tourists and locals alike.
Thanks for bringing the awesome range of cuisines from Taiwan.. Because I got literally fed up of the repeated program related to Bangkok, Vietnam, Philippines & its neighbouring areas .. Taste of Taiwan was unknown to me. Greetings from Hamburg Lohbrügge Germany.
taiwanese dumplings, mantou, taiwanese sausage, ice cream burrito,su mien and of course milk tea from local breakfast stalls are my favorite.wanna go back to taiwan❤️
I really like your "compilation" videos Luke, and this one is especially good. Taiwan is one of the best places in the world for street food and just alone because of the night markets and the food, I would like to return. Thanks a lot for sharing and for the great work !
Thank you Luke for your continuous support for Taiwan's food and culture adventures. Once the world reopens for travel, please let the world know to visit this land of gentle, friendly, hard working people to show them support and enjoy the visit there!! God bless everyone in the world!!
Wow Luke you know how to speak the local languages l love to hear. I am a Hokkien, speak same as the Taiwanese. Keep it up. God bless you to be healthy. I am from Singapore
@@xxtleee If Luke is at the one I am thinking of, you get off at Daqioutou on the Orange Line. I can't remember which exit #...the morning open air food court is next to the Dadaocheng Temple. You go down Liangzhou St to Lane 49 and you'll see it.
So delicious those food that I watched here in your vlog. Thanks Luke, for showing me / us these varieties of Taiwanese street foods. How about you travel to the Philippines, and give nice comments to our delectable street foods especially in Metro Manila, Metro Iloilo, or Zamboanga City. Thanks again, my friend, and have a nice weekend. God bless, and stay safe always.
Great Video, it's great to see you show a lot of local Taiwan food, the video feels very unique , I saved the video for next year when we visit my family in Taiwan. Thank You
my best bro luke & Logan back you both are looking handsome thank you for your huge respect against cpec friendship countries lot of love from your best bro viki 💙
Raohe night market's Pepper bun 胡椒饼 is a must try. Also don't forget the grilled king oyster mushroom 烤蘑菇 in any night market. Don't miss Shi-Lin night market's melt-in-your-mouth fruity shaved ice 泡泡冰 too.
Taiwan street foods are insanely good and cheap! However, this country is not for anyone with diabetes. Every local area / township in Taiwan has their own specialty food and one should travel the entire island just to taste the different local foods! Problem in Canada is most health inspectors would shut down most of the local food vendors due to improper and poor cleanliness conditions. This is why street food is only available in Asia where most local street foods still thrive due to the high need where for the average Asian to needs to do whatever they can to survive and to earn an honest living. The food industry is extremely competitive thus food quality is top notch. Most restaurants do not last even 5 years due to the competitiveness of the food industry. Likewise, Taiwan is the only place in the world where a Big Mac actually looks exactly like the Big Mac pictured on the menu at McDonald's.....
I will be in Chiayi in a few weeks. I would like to try #11: Dan Bing in the video. Do you have any record of which restaurant it is? I could not obtain any clue from the video. Either the name or the address will be much appreciated. Thank you!
Thanks for the very interesting video. I'm going to visit Taiwan soon and one of things which bothers me a little is that using English only can be quite not enough. Watching your video confirms it to me a bit - I can see many dish lists and menus only in local language, not to mention about the tiniest street food booths. It will be playing with google translator camera... or lottery ;)
Luke, I believe that it is time for you to create a video of the top ten dishes that you have ever had while travelling across the globe. I only wish I would have taken more notes during my time in the military to give you my top ten during my enlistment in the United State Navy.... Thoughts?

Dumpling is the best because you can freeze it. That is a kind of convenient food. You can make it 200 dumplings in one time.
