Vietnam is really the shining star among tourist countries! I really envy their prices. The people who live there are with great happiness! Thank you very much for your hard work in editing and sharing, really great job! 👍😄👏
The shell on the shrimps keep the flavors inside so its won't be to dried when eaten and also give its a better crunch that lots of people prefer. Without the shells its will taste a little burned-out and no shrimp crackers flavor..
My advice to you is to have many Vietnamese friends from the three regions of North, Central, and South. You will spend a lot of time enjoying thousands of delicious dishes throughout our country of Vietnam, including Vietnamese family cuisine, snacks, morning, noon, evening, vegetarian, holidays, wedding parties, death anniversaries, drinking parties, and vegetarian food....all are different and separate, with only one thing in common: all delicious..Both fill your hungry stomach and fill your soul, you will feel very happy when enjoying them..😄
I like your go to the points and not beating the bushes about the food . Your TH-cam foods reviewing is on point and fast to the next one. Keep up the good work!
Amazing video, this videos exblow with incredible your expertise skilled acting talking that an outstanding amazing video. Thanks so much firming this amazing video for us to watch.👍👍❤❤
Martin I just love the way you pronounce Vietnamese it sounds so adorable. The last time I went back to Vietnam was 15 years ago. I'd love to go back there some time ❤
The master mind behind food compilation videos..... Others Food TH-camrs have their uniqueness and gift. With Luke, its the way his compilation videos are made..... Hits differently than any other Food TH-camr and those guys are great as well. ❤❤❤
The purpose of wrapping with the rice paper is to include other vegetables and herbs to the main meat dish (as for me mainly to break the greasiness coming along with).
Hi Luke, very nice video. It made me craving some Vietnamese food 🤤. But FYI, there is no lemongrass in beef pho broth 😋. We don’t use lemongrass in pho in general.
I've missed so much, I've been going through it my friend And still going through it. 🙄😊 I'm not seeing my girl.... Videos still amazing as always! 🙏🏼💃🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
You made me hungry for 1h34min and I'm looking forward to go to Vietnam this year and try as much street food as possible! Have you also been in the southern part of Vietnam and during which time have you been in Vietnam due to the cold and rainy weather? I really appreciate your recommendations and the food you tasted🍲🍛😍🤤
You should visit Da Lay and try Lau Bo Quan Go( Beef Hot Pot). It’s super dope man. Every time I travel back to VN, this is the must-visit place. There are so many copycats in the same area but the real store is the one that has the tiger on the board on the top.
Luke could you and Mink make a tutorial video on how to eat with chopsticks? I love Asian food but I hate the fact that I still can’t eat it the traditional way using chopsticks instead of a fork and/or a spoon… Did you come across the Bahn Cuon with a type of water bug? I think it’s called Bahn Cuon Cà Cuonğ, I saw it years ago in a show in Belgium hosted by a Vietnamese chef who has a restaurant in Brussels. It’s a type of bug that only lives in Vietnam it resembles a small crab and the chef said it’s kind of crunchy and it tasted a bit citrusy almost like kumquat fruit.
Bánh cuốn with Cà Cuống sauce is very Famous in capital Hanoi and still selling. As a Vietnamese, we don't actually judge other people whether they can use chopsticks or not, we're truly appreciate visitors come and enjoy our food as well as our culture. If you want to use chopstick, there is no way better than use it frequently.
I think some foods have shrimps with the shells to increase the crispness, which makes the foods different from other foods. It may taste not very familar at first. But if you don’t eat the foods after a while, you will kinda miss that crispness and come back to buy some 😂
2 million Vietnamese had died from starving in 1944-1945 under French colonial rule, the French did not let us eat, let alone eating good food from French. If so, it only happened to those who served them :) They took our resources and left us poverty, look at Africa currently under French rule you'll get it.
I had to thumbs up because you were at 666. Can't be having that, can we? All the best to you. I hope you learn more about the cuisine, so you can give more back than the typical TH-camr.
Please don't squeeze lemon into the fried rice, all those lime pieces are meant to be in your soup, because lemon juice never ever goes directly onto the dry fried rice since it won't help neutralize the taste at all.
Brave man to eat that lobster. They are farm raised in horrible water conditions and often have all types of health problems. I've seen some of the farms and you couldn't pay me to eat what lived in them.
Vietnamese food can be really delicious, and it can be NOT so much. The tapioca dumplings with whole shrimp inside, head, shell, feelers and all? Not. I adore all the noodles, and love the bobas, but Hue food in general is too much tapioca for me. Thanks for helping us navigate it, Luke!

Awesome video. The oil at 1:01:30 looks pretty sketchy. Hope you’re not consuming gutter oil
You made me hungry for 1h34min and I'm looking forward to go to Vietnam this year and try as much street food as possible!

Lobster is dry as anything and expensive. I’m blessed to come from a country with world class seafood. Great video 👍🏼

Hi! Maybe we should… and yes I did see banh cuon with water bug for sale

Don’t worry about can’t do the chopsticks, you can use your two fingers instead if chopsticks, 😂.
Would of been nice to be indexed, since I am only going to Hoi An and Da Nang, wanted to skip the others :), they make me drool more.
Nice to meet you! Welcome to Việt Nam ❤ share and connect together 😊
我想去越南了
For #27 Banh xeo, if you like to eat with chilli sauce, you should put it in the brown sauce and dip the roll in 😊

I’m can you share the names/locations of the specific places you went? Thank you!!

So nice's❤
Are they using cilantro and red onions? After my heart!!
Were you in. Hanoi when it wa cold or was that you an I’m going in February and I don’t want to be cold
Proud of my Country. ❤
I love Vietnam 🇻🇳 a beautiful country
Do you planning going down to Ho Chi Minh City?
Don’t they wrap the noodles in lettuce end leaves then put in the pork? Use the garlic and pepper to put in sauce?
Love it
Delicious food
Well, come to think of it, the pancakes as well. Crepes!
Given that Vietnam was once under French rule, I'm amazed that French cuisine left so little mark there. Absence of butter and cream?
Don’t forget banh mi!
2 million Vietnamese had died from starving in 1944-1945 under French colonial rule, the French did not let us eat, let alone eating good food from French. Beautiful man, looks delicious but can't eat

ji mah means sesame in Cantonese
U r awesome thanks 4 sharing 😊
In VN, if the shrimps are fried, we eat them shells on!
แต่ละเมนูน่าอร่อย
❤❤❤❤
BBH is salty because you don’t eat it with herbs. They often make it a bit salty for eating with vegetables (rau).
I had to thumbs up because you were at 666. Can't be having that, can we? All the best to you. I hope you learn more about the cuisine, so you can give more back than the typical TH-camr.

Vietnamese often sell high prices,be careful, you should ask price before eating😊😊😊
Brave man to eat that lobster. They are farm raised in horrible water conditions and often have all types of health problems. I've seen some of the farms and you couldn't pay me to eat what lived in them.
So is everything else you eat

OK, your other videos about food in Vietnam are good but this one is just abusing us viewers now :-)
