Those who are saying it's repetitive, be patient: think of these as his Short-films, he is definitely working on his Feature Length, yet to be released! Hey Daniel, since you’re slowing down most of these shots, are you recording 60 FPS or above for these scenes? I know as a filmmaker they say you should know what scenes you want to slow down and where you would have to bump up your frame rate. But is there a sweet spot where you can continuously shoot in a single frame rate and still be able to slow it down later if you decide to in post?

    • @sjoerdsiemes
      @sjoerdsiemes 5 ปีที่แล้ว +8

      Don't use Slog2 in dark scenes. If you want to use Slog2 properly it needs to be overexposed with 2.0 stops. You can see it on the bottom of your camera screen.

      Make it yourself!! You'll learn so much more. Plus, it's custom. You don't have to worry about sounds being out of sync. Buy a cheap $150 audio recorder and build your own library!
      I wander around my house at 1 in the morning with an audio recorder recording random stuff. I look ridiculous, but it works.

      I'm with you on this man. It's not that this video doesn't look great (it does), it's more or less that the execution of the visual elements don't really complement the music in some ways. Some of the moves could have been much simpler and still be just as good if not better for the final product. But hey, he still killed this video regardless.
