    Another great tutorial Matt. I don’t know of any other person dissecting games by position the way you do. It’s textbook. Not always an execution, but you always annotate and self critique what you should’ve done. Good luck in your career, and thank you for all the insight👍🏼

    1:42 -- y u no play CM #8?!
    Because you played your ST he had to make the pass to the wing and be out of his striking position (since he came deep to receive). If you had played to #8 then the ST would have been free to either receive a ball in a dangerous position, or find an even better position after #8 had played to another player (probably wide or so).

    • @netking767
      @netking767 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      But then again, judging from 3:47 #8 isn't really that creative and doesn't try going forward so maybe that's why you bypass him so much?

  • @datbwoytheozy5078
    @datbwoytheozy5078 4 ปีที่แล้ว

    Matt you should sometimes change the game. Your short passes are really good but if you watch back the analysis you could see some short passes you made when you guys were congested in an area gave your opponent the ability to take the ball from you guys. And again you should sometimes cut in and move through centre of the pitch and this will make you deadly right back or left back. But you should know when to do every move . You should also be looking at your forwarders either the striker, left winger or right winger you should be giving through passes and crosses this will make those tackling you always confused cause they won't know your next move . I have been watching your games for sometime and I have notice you like to move along the line and your opponent who are quite intelligent will know this and try to take advantage of that .

  • @matthewhh2632

    3:45 just play the keeper and switch the play Would be a better option, but yours is also acceptable, my thought. Keep up the good work!

    • @jackoxley903
      @jackoxley903 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      FIFA 20 SBC CHEAP SOLUTIONS for a start they are pressing really high. Also the keeper may be left footed and that’s a hard ball to give him on the right from there giving the keeper a load of pressure and this will result in a poor ball from the keeps you can’t switch play to the left back as they are pressing to high 🤦🏻‍♂️

    • @matthewhh2632
      @matthewhh2632 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@jackoxley903 first of all the keeper is right footed, NOT left.. And i know they are pressing high but when they press high and are mostly focused at the right side where he had the ball, he can easily play it backwords, and then either the cb og lb need to drop down on a playable angle, and then all the players pressing from the right side have been put off, or they have to use a lot of energy exsta to sprint a half pitch, and then after they have used exstra energy you can decide to put it up or play, but it is a better option than kickball in that scenario.

    • @jackoxley903
      @jackoxley903 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      FIFA 20 SBC CHEAP SOLUTIONS he’s the pro not you so stop with your dead analysing of his game to play your keeper that is a waste cause at this level most keepers when under slight pressure will just get rid of it anyway plus he had a few seconds to smash the ball to the other side, if he was to turn it would amount to a lot of pressure and would to take him longer to turn and play the ball on his right

    • @matthewhh2632
      @matthewhh2632 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@jackoxley903 hahaha, i know ur in love with Matt, hes a cool guy. I know he is a pro so am i, but all in all to develop his level and do a better solution he could have done what i meant earlier. You have ur opinion and its totally okay, but if you want to become even better you need to be more open, you wont succed in anything in your life with that attitude, thats my helpful tip for you my friend..
      I know ur in love with Matt and things everything he does is the right thing to do, but im just helping him and you with another possible option. HAHA was fun to talk to you kid, time for you to grow up ;))

Have you never been playing a game and felt that you should attack and then your coach tells you not to do that? Every coach wants something different. Sometimes it's not the player that makes decisions on how to play, but it's what the coach wants.
