- Welcome to this25 minute morning seated yoga stretch, designed to help you awaken and energize your body while focusing on you legs, hips and groin. This practice is perfect for those looking to improve their flexibility and release tension in these areas.
We'll start laying down on our mats to slowly warm up the body and move into a series of seated hip openers, and forward folds to stretch and release the hips and groin.

I love your floor stretches as I have been having issues with foot pain for a while. Chair yoga doesn't allow me to stretch my legs as much as I'd like, so this is perfect!

This was great for me! I have limited mobility due to ankle surgery and was really happy to find something like this to help me wake up in the morning. I only had to modify two of the stretches for my ankle.

This was awesome!!! I especially needed those stretches in my sides and back! I don't think I have ever gotten so deep into my back. Thank you for those variations! Sometimes the smallest tweaks make a huge difference. You’re right...this sequence would be a great nighttime stretch as well. It is in my “favorite “ folder” so I will go back. I was feeling low today and I know my body needs a bit of movement to heal, but today I couldn’t find strength to move. This seated session was perfect because not only did I not have to get of my bed, my heart also feels less heavy after this. So thank you! 💛

That was a really nice cool down after my workout. I don’t know how you did that last move with the knees 😅 I couldn’t do it. What’s the secret?
Lol! No secret, and a lot to do with foot and ankle mobility/anatomy. You can try doing this one by placing blocks under your knees and sitting back on your heels,you'll get the same stretch.
