I ran into a similar issue - even with the mic attached to the Triples frame it was picking up the shaker noise. RTX Voice fixes 98% of the issue for me
It doesn't seem bad as an all in one entry product and also pretty well priced. 4 corner setups are kind of an old mentality and placing shakers closer to the body has become the preferred setup for many. Also, running a varied range of shakers can produce better results as you'll have a larger range of hz to play with and effects will feel more individual. Impressed that they've taken some kind of isolation into consideration, I'd expect that a lot of companies wouldn't. Appreciate the content as always

I find it helps a lot to feel the edges of the car and use all of the track. If you don't feel shaking, you are on the asphalt. If you feel shaking on all four tires. You went too far. Two corners: just right.
Hi Dave, greetings from beautiful Barbados and I trust you and your family are doing well. I have one very important question, from your testing, can you tell which shaker is vibrating? For example, if the front left hits a curb, is it only felt in the front left side of the rig, or can you feel the vibration through out the entire rig? I have tried a similar setup before and the entire rig was vibrating making it almost impossible to feel each 'wheel' independently. I hope I explained myself and you understand what I am try to say. Thank you.......... Dexter

Interesting info on this motion system for Racing Rigs. I went to their website and for products they also have listed a motion system that is a little more powerful for 650 dollars. I don't have any Rig right now, but just looking at videos on what people use for their racing. I know I don't want something that is going to put me in debt for the rest of my life. Some of their pricings are ridiculous. This company is reasonable and supply all the parts to get it up and going and you weigh about what I do - 200 pounds. Thanks for the video and Take care.
God they are so quiet! I live alone so its not a problem but my diy setup makes SO much noise lol. The one under my pedal plate specifically rattles a lot, need to get some rubber or something to put in between it.
Interesting idea. Now take that spring setup, and design a udp telemetry device that "jabs" against those springs, but ONLY uses the spring travel and location settings coming through the UDP and you've solved motion simulation. AND compatibility is expanded (since it's udp and only uses the spring info) to include consoles. So the bottom half of this setup, the top half would be a minimal actuator system, and the control box would be udp, with USB options of course. You can even have a sound based backup for 'dinosaur' sims that don't utilize udp (that's right ACC, i called you a dinosaur, at least in the console port).
There isn't enough travel in these springs for motion. Depending on how fat you are, you're looking at about 1/2" to 1/4" from completely bottoming out. Not only that, they aren't designed to handle lateral movement without binding up. They're not really designed for constant motion, just to take the edge off of vibration transmission and decouple something from the floor. Reason these are so "cheap" is because they're commodity off the shelf industrial isolators. The minute you start going into custom fabrication then you start getting into the price territory of existing cheap motion rigs.
For about 20 years I've been running a transducer under my seat and it is simply being fed signal from my rear channel and powered by its own 150w amp. I could just as easily have one on each corner. But I'm driving everything (rumble and audio) with a single sound card. What added benefit is there for adding a second sound card? How does a dual-main output setup work while gaming since you can have only one main output in Windows and need to be able to both hear and feel the game at the same time? Also, 50w per channel seems low for a transducer, but then again my transducer is over 20 years old now so maybe they've come further along? What is the ultimate effect; is it a shake or a buzz? I can feel a huge range of signal through my single transducer setup; asphalt textures, rumble strips, airflow changes, bump drafts, propeller rpm changes, weather effects...it all comes through great. But it can be subtle or it can be massive. How would you describe the range using this setup and how detailed is the feel?
Damn BST-1 went up in price. I bought mine maybe 6 months ago and they were $55. Also, nobsound amps are only good for one BST-1, even though it says it's a 100 watt amp. I ended up buying the Aiyima A07 Amp and it made a huge difference. All of that being said, I tried the four corners setup and barely got feedback even with everything turned up, makes me wonder how this would be any different since the vibrations get muted through the frame. I even tried Vesa mounts and hanging the bass shakers off the frame and it wasn't strong enough, and you have yours turned down in simhub which is surprising to me. I went back to one under the seat and one under the pedals and the vibration force is a huge difference compared to the four corner setup on my TR120 rig. All of that said, I can't go back to not using bass shakers. Even if you don't use it for tire slip, having it relay the road vibrations, bumps, and rumble strips, it gives the car real weight and makes it feel so much more real. I've found that front and rear tire slip is hit and miss between Sims, and some Sims don't even have ABS or TC available in simhub. Even without those items, still worth it. Feels amazing, feels so much closer to being in a car than relying on the wheel for everything. Makes me wonder what a full motion rig would feel like in comparison.
This is exactly what I’ve been looking for. I’ve currently got a single buttkicker under my seat but I’m looking to expand further. Would I be able to connect my current buttkicker to the slip angle 300W amp ?
Maybe I missed it in your vid but what chassis did you mount this too? Was about to order but remember it likely won't work with profile of Sim Labs P1X Pro.
Thanks Dave. Would love to know if you could purchase the springs and mounts on their own? I guess they might want to keep that as part of the package because quite frankly it’s arguably the biggest selling point imo. Overall very reasonably priced. A win for sim racers! 🤙
@@davecamyt Thanks Dave! I did find it myself and was going to edit my comment haha. One question I have when you have the time is - Do the springs at all effect your braking modulation? It is my only concern, but on your vision of them while you were driving shows very subtle movements, so I’m going to assume it doesn’t at all, but confirmation would be great. 🙂 I already have 3 Dayton Bst-1’s (with my own not so conventional mounts - 2 on the seat, 1 on the pedals) so these would compliment the rig tremendously, and they do look well designed/engineered.
Thanx. Looks like a great kit. Too bad it's from the US, shipping and import duties and VAT will kill me in Sweden (they seem to hate US import :)). Did I miss the part where you talk about your experience of it while racing?

Very nice review Dave. I was waiting for you to review this. My concern for my own use would be that my rig is in the loft and directly below is both the lounge and the bedroom. (The rig straddles the dividing wall) If the ceiling suddenly started vibrating I think the Mrs wouldn't be too happy with me. Still a good bit of kit though. 👍
good info. got a subscribe from me. Kinda curious about those in ear speakers you have there. not sure if you've done a video on those. but would be an interested in finding out more.
Hello Dave! How do you feel the vibration through your rig? I have three of the same shakers, two are fixed directly to the seat, and one to the pedal plate, earlier, when I installed them directly on the rig, I did not feel anything, the aluminum profile is too monolithic and dampens all vibrations
@@davecamyt your SM7B has a high pass filter switch on the back of it, you can see them in the video. Don't need to mess with any software settings, start by flipping the high pass filter switch on with a toothpick or something and see how it does.
@@davecamyt Oh okay. I have a LFE Buttkicker that I attached the middle of the rig, it was so powerful that I can use it for anything...engine noises, gear shifting, ect..and it feels great.
Hi @Dave Cam! Great video as always! I would like to hear your opinion about latency? I also purchased the BST1 bass shaker and use an usb soundcard and amplifier very similar to this one. I use Simhub as well, purchased the pro version or whatever it is called in simhub and honestly I feel a few tenths of delay which is not too disturbing but quite noticible therefor I didn't add them to the pedals because with this much delay it does not make sense to feel abs and slip if it is alread too late. Have you experienced any delay with this kit? Is it something we can do to reduce the delay? Thanks in advance!
Another great video Dave. I hope you are/or did enjoy your holiday. With the low frequency of the tactile transducers, did you attempt to filter out the noise in your attached mic? I have been looking at this system and from watching your videos, I thought you were testing it. I was waiting on your review prior to purchasing the system. I am going to now that I have watched your video. Thank you.
Best way to filter frequencies out in audio is to not record them in the first place. You can do a high pass filter to cut the rumblies out but you go too high and you start effecting the timbre of your voice. Best way is to decouple the microphone from the vibration source by getting it off the rig. Attach the mic arm to a wall, drop it from the ceiling, or put it on a separate mic stand. *then* start working on EQ to get rid of whatever still gets through.
@@wandrinsheep I get that as I have a setup myself..... however I know how a bass shaker at the front of an 8020 rig basically shakes the whole rig so just wondering if you really feel the difference between rear right and rear right for example?

Can someone please explain the high price of this kit? Its essentially a collection of off the self parts at 30-50% markup (depending on isolator quality). They don't even have their own software.
Probably as it's a kit. Saves you the bother of trying to find everything I suppose. But, I bought two of the shakers here in the UK and that cost £200.
I’m new to sim racing and looking to get a rig. I’m looking to get a trak racer trx. Do you have any idea if these would be compatible with that rig (Trak Racer TRK)?
I'm really interested in getting this myself, but I have a Trak Racer TR120 with Quad Monitors attached to the rig (not free standing). So I'm worried about the 4 montiors and stand that the rig would be front heavy and bottom out.
I realize this is an old comment, but I recently purchased this setup based on Dave's review, coming from Buttkicker front and rears, took about 30 days to get this from slip angle and I've just had the chance to set it up. The included springs are more than enough, I have a PX1 rig, as well as a NLR seat mover, and I weigh roughly 225 lbs. I went with the gray rear and brown front springs, and they do not bottom out at all, I probably could have used the blue in front, but I also have simlab inverted pedal mounts which are also very heavy. I'd imagine the inverted pedals weigh more that your monitor, so you'd be fine.
Also a late but very honest hint: Trash that monitors, get a capable VR headset. You will never look back, will just feel sorry for the flatscreen racers.
Hint Dave, if you want a reasonably cheap pair of headphones with mic buy these for under 200 quid, AntLion Audio Kimura Duo, I like them light and a decent mic
At the moment, the price is a bit higher than what I am willing to pay but damn! Its a good idea. I have other items to get first, like an 80/20 rig. Maybe in a few months I'd be finally ready to get this kit.
Dave - You are losing clarity of the input signal running Simhub main volume at that lower %. The creator of Simhub said that the volume on the top right of Simhub needs to be at 100% (each effect can be set at lower levels). Also Windows main volume needs to be at 100% otherwise you lose steps of the signal being sent. The games volume can be lower though.
Sorry thumbs down from me, stating £470 delivered is misleading when delivered it's actually £555 ($692) with tax which it even shows on checkout. The Dayton BST-1 are about £56 each from soundimports. I am very interested in the floor springs but £240 delivered is way too steep. Cannot wait for other to sell this. I appreciate your channel and content but major mess up here.
Do you use the integrated triple monitor mount? I used the integrated mount on the smaller GT1-EVO but the bezel kit really doesnt like the vibration. It rubed on the screen :( You could ask them for their new vario triple stand and mount your mic on it to avoid the vibrations.
This is a neat mounting system for this type of bass shaker, the way I've mounted mine are a bit more... creative. While iRacing doesn't seem to support multi-channel bass shakers, I wish it did as I greatly prefer the way the iRacing LFE feels. It actually makes every car feel unique as you can feel the true engine vibration of each car and it feels remarkable and definitely adds to the fun factor. I found simhub made everything feel rather strange and samey. But I suppose that would be expected, iRacing has direct access to itself whereas simhub is based purely on telemetry data. However the way iRacing LFE feels has severely spoiled me for any other racing sim which don't have built in LFE, then I have to use simhub and it's rather sad face. Though for playing truck simulators, just feeding the audio directly straight into the bass shakers feels pretty awesome. Those trucks make a lot of bass XD If my only experience with them was using them from just simhub I'd probably not bother with them as I don't really like how they feel with that, I generally don't even bother and just don't use them for anything other than iRacing and truck sims.
I got this kit and was not impressed. The amplifier is not strong enough to drive the four bass shakers. Even at 70% volume on each channel at the amp and 40% volume in simhub, prolonged shaking would trigger overcurrent protection inside the amplifier and it would shut off and have to be power cycled at the switch to come back online again. I gave up and bought a 2nd copy of the amp off amazon, and instead of running all four corners off one amp I have two on each amplifier. No more overcurrent protection shutdowns. They either need to use a higher powered amp or include two in this kit. One just isn't enough to drive these transducers. I also was not a fan of the springs either. I'm 6'3 290lbs and I have a heavy rig, and even the heavy springs were completely sacked in the rear. But even if the springs weren't flat under me, I still wouldn't have been a fan of them due to their placement. Getting out of the rig was annoying because the rear corner stuck out from the rig right where my foot lands when I get out so I was constantly kicking the damn thing. It also made the rig difficult to move around since the spring cage is two separate pieces which come apart, so I ended up throwing the springs in the trash and fabricated my own mount points. I hard mounted two inside my seat bracket and one under each corner of my pedal box up front. My rig is back to sitting flat on the ground again. My house is built on a concrete slab so it does not transmit vibrations through the house. It probably does help reduce vibrations if you're on a wooden subfloor or inside an apartment. Once I got rid of the springs and fabbed up all my own custom brackets and added a second amp, it's working pretty good. But I kind of threw out all the key parts of this kit and the amp is kind of garbage. So I would have been far better off just piecemealing my own instead of buying this.
You are losing over half of the input signal running Simhub at 40%. The creator of Simhub said that the volume on the top right of Simhub needs to be at 100% (each effect can be set at lower levels). Also Windows main volume needs to be at 100% otherwise you lose steps of the signal being sent. The games volume can be lower though.
I had two of the BST1 shakers on my heavy profile rig and didn’t feel much. I bought a large Buttkicker advance and that’s way better and can feel it a lot more but I would like a bit more power. I am considering buying the isolator springs which will be about $400 AUD or another buttkicker for $600. Sounds like you didn’t get much more from the isolators? I’m in a new house with cement foundation but wooden floor. I also already have some metal/rubber legs lifting my rig up so it is kinda isolated anyway. Sounds like I would be better off spending 1/3 more for another shaker?
Hoping to ha e mjne set up in nextweek or so to give it a go. Not the same Dyton shakers I have four of the smaller ones but still 50w each. Looking at the Nobsound amps x2. Hope its half as good as you say yours is and another youtuber if so will stanb me somewhere between 120 and max about 160. If I like it will upgrade from just the four corners to also have one or two under the seat and some really small ones on each pedal. Nice review and dont think the make of amp si taht crucial because yiu are not aiming to power quality speakers to listen to music.
Nothing is impossible, metal is metal. You just need to drill holes in your rig if they are not there, or weld up some kond of mount point. More difficult if you don't have the right tools to fabricate stuff though.
and once again non profile sim rigs are left out... if it had a mount for Rseats, I would buy it right now. My Buttckicker is awesome, but this kit seems like everything you'll ever need.
Dave, You still running this. You didn’t like the shaker under your pedals you say. I don’t see that as helpful. Any racer car I’ve driven never vibrated under my feet. Was thinking of 4 on the corners, the isolation mounts are suppose to keep the vibration complete without losing anything through your rig or the whole, should you agree. Thanks
No I'm not running this as I had vibration through my mic. I could have sorted it but I would have had to buy new mounts etc so took them off. I still think they're amazing though 👍

@DaveCam are you still using this setup? About to build myself a new sim rig. Trying to decide if these are worth it or not? Thanks mate 😊
Hi Dave, im considering pushing the button on this kit and am wondering are you still running it or did you take it off?
I bought it anyway and it's awesome 😎
I ordered one of these kits a few days ago. Patiently waiting on it arriving! 😊
Hey did you get your kit? Wondering if you have any feedback
How is it
It's going to take while....youll probably get two separate packages like 3 weeks apart....I know.....annoying....but worth it
Did you get the kit? How is it,?
@davecamm do you still use this system? How has everything held up?
Thanks for awesome content.
Dave what is the package you tested on your rig? Which wattage? I have a GT Omega Prime and want to make sure the 100w is enough
It's maybe stronger as I am using the springs and nothing is being transferred to the floor?
Dave I dont know how you could try 4x base shakers and then go back? My rig feels 'off' without them.
This is exactly what I’ve been looking for. I’ve currently got a single buttkicker under my seat but I’m looking to expand further. Would I be able to connect my current buttkicker to the slip angle 300W amp ?
do you think it can be installed inside of the ring and not outside?
Maybe I missed it in your vid but what chassis did you mount this too? Was about to order but remember it likely won't work with profile of Sim Labs P1X Pro.
Great review. How is this item different than a dbox motion setup?
Dammit Dave, I thought I’d finished my rig!
Time to spend YET MORE money 😂
It's never finished 😂
Dave, do you still have this on your rig? Interested to see if this kit has a long term appeal.
Thanks Dave. Would love to know if you could purchase the springs and mounts on their own? I guess they might want to keep that as part of the package because quite frankly it’s arguably the biggest selling point imo.
Overall very reasonably priced. A win for sim racers! 🤙
Yes you can 👍

@@davecamyt Thanks Dave! I did find it myself and was going to edit my comment haha. One question I have when you have the time is - Do the springs at all effect your braking modulation? It is my only concern, but on your vision of them while you were driving shows very subtle movements, so I’m going to assume it doesn’t at all, but confirmation would be great. 🙂 I already have 3 Dayton Bst-1’s (with my own not so conventional mounts - 2 on the seat, 1 on the pedals) so these would compliment the rig tremendously, and they do look well designed/engineered.
@@davecamyt the parts are shipped straight from China not US Dave.
would mounting direct to the bottom of the seat be better? More efficient, more fidelity, more feedback, less noise for the wife?
Thanx. Looks like a great kit. Too bad it's from the US, shipping and import duties and VAT will kill me in Sweden (they seem to hate US import :)). Did I miss the part where you talk about your experience of it while racing?
"We currently ship directly out of China. This keeps the cost of the kit low, the trade off is longer shipping times and higher shipping fees. Please note the shipping times listed when selecting type of shipping.
All duties and taxes prepaid, not additional fees."
So much for this statement...
@@danut05 ah, thank you for telling me, that makes it much more interesting. I just opened the link, saw the prices in $ and (stupid me) assumed it was from US. :D
On the way to my place in Australia 🎉
Thank you for the review! This is on my got to get this list. I was wondering whay kind of earbuds you are using? If you are using them, I know that they work well in racing, hell I might even have to get some of those as well. Keep up the good works Dave.
Very nice review Dave.
I was waiting for you to review this.
My concern for my own use would be that my rig is in the loft and directly below is both the lounge and the bedroom. (The rig straddles the dividing wall)
If the ceiling suddenly started vibrating I think the Mrs wouldn't be too happy with me.
Still a good bit of kit though.
👍
Give it a go and find out! Who knows, maybe let her go for a ride in your rig! haha
But how can you use this with PS5 and simhub? I see there's only USB connection to the PC with the 4 channel sound card.
I was scrolling the comments to see if some asked about PS. Bummer no response
Gday Dave how are you ?? just wondering if you still have this on your rig ?? Cheers David Milne
good info. got a subscribe from me. Kinda curious about those in ear speakers you have there. not sure if you've done a video on those. but would be an interested in finding out more.
Considering that the Buttkicker I got is 1/2 the price of this for just one bass shaker...I would buy this if I could do it again
Cost aside, you like this or motion more?
Hello Dave! How do you feel the vibration through your rig? I have three of the same shakers, two are fixed directly to the seat, and one to the pedal plate, earlier, when I installed them directly on the rig, I did not feel anything, the aluminum profile is too monolithic and dampens all vibrations
The vibration for me on the rig is very noticeable 👍
Could you add an EQ to your mic to pull out the 50hz etc? Nothing useful in that frequency range for vocals anyway.
I'll give that a whirl 👍
@@davecamyt your SM7B has a high pass filter switch on the back of it, you can see them in the video. Don't need to mess with any software settings, start by flipping the high pass filter switch on with a toothpick or something and see how it does.
I thought this also supposed to bounce and serve as suspension for the moving rig? It's not it, right? It's just noise vibration?
It's just to stop the vibration being transferred elsewhere 👍
@@davecamyt Oh okay. I have a LFE Buttkicker that I attached the middle of the rig, it was so powerful that I can use it for anything...engine noises, gear shifting, ect..and it feels great.
Dave. Please review the Ushake6 from sim racing studios.
I really want to order the isolator mount kit, but for $500+nzd it’s a really hard call. Is it really that good?
I need to find something like this but for a tubular rig. I have a trak racer tr8 pro
No, I've not noticed any delay at all 👍
Another great video Dave. Thank you.
No I've not tried different frequencies to get rid of it on the mic. Not sure I'd be able to tbh
Do you get separation in the feel between the 4 corners?
Yes. You can control how you want the feedback separated, with 4 individual bass shakers you can separate feedback to each ingame wheel
@@wandrinsheep I get that as I have a setup myself..... however I know how a bass shaker at the front of an 8020 rig basically shakes the whole rig so just wondering if you really feel the difference between rear right and rear right for example?
@@Mistermoleymole I have a front rear setup, can definitely feel the separation. I’d hazard that once properly setup you’ll be able to tell where the feedback is coming from
would you recommend this t ouse in appartment?
Convince them to send it to Malta ;)
Can someone please explain the high price of this kit?
Its essentially a collection of off the self parts at 30-50% markup (depending on isolator quality). They don't even have their own software.
Probably as it's a kit. Saves you the bother of trying to find everything I suppose. But, I bought two of the shakers here in the UK and that cost £200.
Their website states its for 8020 rigs. Will they work with 8040's?
Dave, do you have rig mounted screens or are they on a separate bracket ? Wondering how they were effected if directly mounted
I have a separate monitor stand but I don't think they would be affected 👍
I would like to know a bit about the experience, how it changes your perception of the games and if you get any valuable feedback.
Nice. Can you use this with a ps5?
Great vid - woow - again
Bought. 😊
Hint Dave, if you want a reasonably cheap pair of headphones with mic buy these for under 200 quid, AntLion Audio Kimura Duo, I like them light and a decent mic
I've got some and they're great 😁
The shakers with the isolators move the P1x pretty well? I have 2 shakers on my P1x and like you im not that fussed by it.
Yes quite strong 👍
I could see the rig moving in the smaller screen in the corner
Would you say that the isolation is good enough that I wouldn't bother the downstairs neighbours in an apartment complex?
Yes it's very quiet. 👍
I've had this for some time now. I love them but there's a slight delay which is unfortunate. If there was a fix for that they'd be really amazing.
I've not noticed any delay at all
At the moment, the price is a bit higher than what I am willing to pay but damn! Its a good idea.
I have other items to get first, like an 80/20 rig. Maybe in a few months I'd be finally ready to get this kit.
I have it..worth every penny....
£470 plus shipping plus 20% tax import duties
Im sold. Where's your link mate 😅
Cheers brother 👊
Do you use the integrated triple monitor mount?
I used the integrated mount on the smaller GT1-EVO but the bezel kit really doesnt like the vibration. It rubed on the screen :(
You could ask them for their new vario triple stand and mount your mic on it to avoid the vibrations.
He uses stand alone
I don't like integrated monitors for this reason. Monitors really need to be decoupled from the rig and on their owm stand.
50watt is NOT enough for entire rig feeling. its good for direct seat contact but thats it! Need at least 100 watt channel with matching transducers
Good review Dave, im quite keen, anyone got any discount codes for it?
Can u feel wach corner individually
yes you can. If you clip the kerb on the front left tyre, you can feel it in that area of the rig. The feedback is fantastic.
Those trucks make a lot of bass XD
If my only experience with them was using them from just simhub I'd probably not bother with them as I don't really like how they feel with that, I generally don't even bother and just don't use them for anything other than iRacing and truck sims.
I've learnt recently that Amazon is no longer cheap. Too many drop shippers scalping. I got 4 of those baseshakers for £50 each
Hey Dave I think you forgot the link to the product . . . .
It should be there 😁

Does this work whit vr i run the sound on my reverb g2 ?
Hey Dave - You still running this on the rig?
No I took it off. I would have had to buy another solution for mounting my mic
Interesting. So would you say it wasn't worth it if you have to sacrifice @@davecamyt
Does anyone know if these would bolt onto a Next Level Elite rig with the unique lip on the profile along the main side rails ?
Without an aluminium rig is it possible to mount?
Good question was thinking the same I have a simetek k2r not sure if it would work
The easiest solution to this would be to buy 4 sections of aluminium profile and bolt or otherwise fix those to your rig first.
My Buttckicker is awesome, but this kit seems like everything you'll ever need.
its £590.58, you forgot about VAT :( cant press that checkout button... for that price atm
No review? I was hoping to see some action where you describe what it feels like to use one
Tried it and it doesn't make it any better. Save your money!
Do you still use it with new rig?
No, I had issues with vibration through my mic which was mounted to my rig. The problem very specific to me 👍
Would you still use it if there is no mic problem? :)
Definitely 👍
Dave,
You still running this.
@@davecamyt Dave, thanks for the reply. 🤔 that makes me think, it was good but not good enough to keep on and modify your mic or insulate it at the connection.
