Watching this is seriously like the equivalent of stepping back in time to my childhood in the ‘90s. I still have this Nintendo game and won’t ever throw it away. Whoever uploaded this, sincerely thank you 🙌🏽
It takes so much from the first one and improves on it in so many ways, and DKC was a really high bar to begin with. Not only that, but K. Rool kicks so much ass in this one. The character sprite, the gun, the moves, the music...he's kind of the complete package here.
I'm very sentimental about this game because it's the only one where I found everything without ordering guides from Nintendo, or later when I had internet access, looking things up online. It took hundreds of hours of playing to do. Thank you for uploading this.

Oh yeah! One of my favorite childhood games! Also one of the most difficult, even with the strategy guide. I can’t even count how many times I died trying to get everything. Some levels are just a pain (especially the Lost World - screw you, Animal Antics), even years later. Still one of the best game soundtracks I know, even today (Lockjaw’s Saga is still in the top 3). I will admit a [typical] curiosity: when you first started this game, what gave you the most grief (levels, bosses, bonus stages, etc.), and what still does even today? Web Woods’ Hero Coin is still my biggest pet peeve because of the timing required. Oh. And one last thing: did you ever discover the Easter egg about getting all the Kremkoins in Pirate Panic? It’s a one-shot deal, so I always wait until I unlock all the Lost World stages first. Just a fun bonus for a 102% file, at least to me. Another difference between us is that I visit the Lost World stages before the local bosses, instead of saving them all for last. To each their own, I suppose.
My most nostalgic SNES game EVER!! So thankful someone actually did a full walkthrough of this masterpiece! And not just anyone either! Packattack himself!! :D
@@General_CYep, definitely better. I still have the game, the box with the manual, and the strategy guide from Toys R Us. I bought the game for $59.99 + tax. If you didn't have the strategy guide you could still rely on gaming magazines like Gamepro and Nintendo Power for help though.
Jeese! The music in this game just grabbed me and flung me back to the 90's. I used to really enjoy spending the day beating this game. How awesome to rewatch someone else play. 💕
Man as long as this game is been I've never seen that last duel. That nigga was trigger crazy. Appreciate you taking the take time and putting this out there.
That's so sweet that your mom actually played video games with you. Most moms either get video games as a substitute for parenting, ban them from their house for being a bad influence, or crack down on game time and content (which actually isn't that bad, but most moms take it too far).
I didn't grow up in the 90's, regardless, this is one of my favorite game of all time the levels, the music, the gimmicks, and the bosses all just blend together to make one of the best video game sequels of all time (shoutout to Forest Interlude). Me, my mom, and my auntie always used to play this when i was younger the nostalgia of watching this and hearing forest interlude brings me to tears because we don't really play many games together, all three of us, or even my mom and me so just thinking of how fun it was to play this with and when we couldn't beat something we would have my dad do it. Thank you PackAttack always been a big fan of your vidoes.
Animal Antics..more than a level, it was a nightmare, especially the ending part..and this guy made throught it like he was drinking soda..but wait he lost a life...
Now playing this one for the first time, I thought to myself.... the hero of the island that he calls home is suddenly kidnapped and taken to a very dangerous island by an enemy he just defeated?! Not to mention the inhabitants were more deadlier than he's faced before. Now this time, it was Diddy's turn to save him, and with the company of his girlfriend, Dixie. From a wrecked ship to the peak of unfamiliar territory, it was quite the quest!!!!
Thank you so much for this, this game was my childhood. Watching this made me feel like I was 11 years old eating dry ramen with friends in my basement after school. I spent so many hours playing this, it's amazing to see it again.

I played through all three a month ago and have to agree. 1 is a relative breeze. 3 maybe had some harder individual moments, but 2 was consistently challenging throughout. The Retro games I'd say are on par or maybe even surpass 2, especially if you're going for 100%.
@@Frijolero18 I just 100%ed 1 & 2 a couple of days ago. 1 is harder to do that in. 2. Just a couple of levels are hard when you try to 100% it. Otherwise the game is easier than 1 & 3.
Another thing was how majestic and exciting it was just reading the instruction manual. I remember vividly reading it jumping ahead to the stages and villains I've yet to conquer.
