23.5-24 degree clamps and. 100-104 sag thst bike is insanely good. I got a 21 and 22. One had stock stuff one has clamps and the rear wheel pushed back. It’s done even feel like the same bike. They changed some in 23. I like the chassis a touch better but the 22 engine is better for me. 23 is way to fast in low rpm. Which is where I ride mainly. I’m a 7k rpm tops guy lol. Gear higher then most. But that wheee this bike shines. But just like anyone thst races and any bit competitive. Buy what u like and make it urs. No bike is gonna be the best off the showroom for u. Small tweaks will make any bike good. One thing I love about this sport is it’s mainly rider. I drag race cars aswlll it’s totally diff. All a matter how much u wanna spend and it’s 90 car and 10% driver. Bikes r opposite 90 rider 10 bike
I rode this bike a few days ago. It has a TON of power. My bike is a 150 2-stroke, and the 2024 CRF450R is scary powerful in comparison. I almost whiskied it on more than one occasion. My buddy, the one who bought it, hadn't been on a bike in about a decade and looped it out within the first two hours of riding it.
even Jett Lawrence said stock bike had to much power compared to his factory machine, lol......tame the motor and the chassis would probably mellow out a bit I think even the works edition is a bit smoother from what ive heard
Alex finds the bike has too much power. Being a pro rider that he is, at least that means the motor rips. Just spend a few buck$ on the geometry and most surely a stage 1 fork/shock mods.
That's not what he's saying. He's just a little shook up from the CRF. You'll get used to a wicked fast bike. What sucks is a new bike that DOESN'T scare you a little.
I have a 23 and holy shit the power! It will pop the front wheel up in 3rd gear with a throttle blip. And I’m still on the low power map to get use to the bike
What's crazy is the engine is one of the least powerful of all the 450's, honda knocked it down a bunch in 23. But it's delivery and gear selection make it feel super stout.
It had the most peak torque and according to the dirt rider write up made more power than any other bike between 5,200 and 8,000 rpm. But, we will see what changes others Made for 2024. KAWASAKI being the big one.
pretty much destroyed the motorcycle. for the average joe too much power to handle, a bike that is way to hard to set up and needs to much to get set up. it still has swingarm problems and suspension problems. and lets not forget in 6 months from now there will be a complete new crf 450 on the horizon which makes this one look so old. so you loose money so fast.

Rookies
Ok jett@@stevesmith756
So it’s the same as the 23. Hard to set up rigid chassis and if you don’t have team support it sucks for the average joe. I’ll stick with the KX
New Kawi will go even further
Put 24* clamps on that bike is crazy good. It calms it down.
@@dekancaine already put a deposit on a 24 YZF450 🤷♂️
It's glorious times we live in. All these bikes are arguably the best. All make solid cases 😜
Alex looks good on a Honda.
Was the bike too much even in the softest (2nd) engine map?
This is something I think I could learn to live with...😊

That’s how Hondas always are just keep it pinned even when the back steps out on you
The only way to make the 450 4pukes not Suck. Is by converting them into a 500cc Two Stroke ... !!!

Tell me the bike sucks without telling me the bike sucks

@@johndunn9819 it's fast but what's scary is the chassis.
@@caydenthompson126 poor Honda. They just can't nail that elusive frame flex. Still, I love Honda and this bike looks awesome 😎

Oh, it was sketchy?? SHOCKING
Way too hard to even try to make even some minimal sense of what this guy is saying about the bike - Next. And, the riding gear is junk!
