Kind of bummed. Thinking a 2022 model might find it's way under my tree and was kind of hoping it would be red.
The more I read about it the more I'm thinking I'm looking elsewhere or just hope next year is better.

It’s much cheaper to get suspension work and a twisted develop map than it is to make the Yamaha narrower and 10 pounds lighter.

Very good guy's, well explained. I have a 09 CRF 450r from new , i absolutely love this bike in every way . Its super light, has excellent throttle response, and once i played with the available clickers, and adjustments, the bike is AWSOME. i have ridden every model after ,except the 22 , and they are great, however im keeping my 09. Its a underated great machine. ☺😷👍

09 was the most powerful 450. I had one and wish I still did. Best 450 motor they ever had.

@@RideFishHunt Yeah Scott , it's good to hear from someone who has and relies how far ahead this bike was . I have tested a lot of my mates different bikes , all of them newer models. In conclusion, I'm relieved that I have my 09 Honda.

08 and 09 were the best CR450Rs. I had one and it was way better stock than these wacko bikes.

I got this bike and I love it, I like that The engine dosent rip ure arms off, but I got some dirty feeling when riding, but not at low rpm, but when I rev little bit in air its "puffing" and on idle. Im going to remap it later, and gonna revalve my suspension also, got exactly same feeling like hayes with The fork and its not Nice. But otherwise i love The bike😍

his bike - is nothing like the production bike. down to the frame…ktm and honda have had special stuff there unspoken for years. its illegal but who would catch them?

The stock CRF450R bike isn't meant for a broad range of riders, therefore, is going to get a lower score for shootouts. Also, this 450 machine is really built for pros/experienced riders to taylor their own needs and parts for their style of riding/racing. I know about everything I want to place on the 2022 Honda CRF450RX when I purchase it this upcoming year down to the hardware! Although, my TM Racing EN300ES 2t makes me want to dabble with their new 2022 MX450FI offering that has dual pipes and ports - a larger version of their 300 4t bike that is super sick! Hard choices for sure! I'll probably go for the Honda though, since they are cheaper to own and build, as I barely could afford a TM Racing bike the first time around - and let's just not get into price of building the engine, suspension, & chassis! lol

Had a 2019 CRF450 I hated that bike in the sand. Terrible, worst bike I ever rode in the sand.
