Same here, 2007 CRF450R was the last bike I bought. Every year I anticipate the new CRF450R coming out only to keep saying maybe next year. I think 2025 is the year!
@@markwgundert4251had a ‘07 and currently still riding my ‘10. Planning for this as a second year bike ‘26. The bike the Lawerence’s built. Can’t wait ❤🤘
He's not laying the bike over in any corner. Does it not like steep lean angles? Those landings look harsh blowing through stroke unless he's 40lbs heavier than those springs' rating.
they are short since 2021. it's best to buy a one link longer chain and run that till the axle hits the rear stop, then cut off one link and run the stock number of links. by then the chain has stretched enough that you never have to run the axle too far forward. it helps keep leverage (control) over the front and lengthens the wheelbase for better stability.
A bike that is notorious for twitch, harshness, unpredictability, horrible rigidity gets 'released' to the media on a -SHOCKER- SMOOTH TRACK. Even after they've been doing this for years and years, they can always bet some ass-sniffers are gonna give them the 'bike of the year(right up there in the title of this vid)'...'so much better than last year', sound bites, and the brown noses hope the Honda guys will be their friends, and Huntah will be nice to them and invite them to dinner.. What are the odds that if/when they actually take the thing to a REAL track-GH- which is notorious for having nasty accel and decel bumps on damn near every square inch of its surface, we'll hear the truth of how 'well' it works there? Are we to believe after the 'bike of the year' click bait in this vid's title, if this thing ends up acting like a meth freak on a 2 day bender when they ride it at GH these guys will actually tell the truth? And risk all that 'good will' they just planted on Honda's collective AZZ in the form of a big ole smooch? I seriously doubt it At least MXA throws in a caveat in their vids from these 'perfect track prep' bike release events; They tell their readers point-blank the 'REAL' review(s) will come from Glen Helen once we get the bike(s) there. No bullshit 'bike of the year' click bait, and no blathering hyperbole to butter up the factory(Honda in this case) in the hopes they get invited to Lars' house for Sunday dinner.
You’re right about GH. Jackhammer track. I hate it. No jumps and boring. Used to be fun back in the day but it just sucks now. LACR, Perris, Fox, Cahuilla blow GH away. Heck even Elsinore is better
I don't understand buying a new bike each year then dumping thousands in it to sell it the next year to start over now if you have a bike sponsor than yea but avarge person is just insane
They did. The adjustments are for suspension which is a personal setting based on preference. No two riders like the same thing... The chassis itself feels way better. Everything you don’t like about the 21-24, the 25 fixes and just does it better. Only real complaint is suspension being softer for the average rider. Fast, or heavy riders will most likely go with springs and a revalve.
I love Honda bikes but man since I jumped on a KTM it’s been a game changer for me. They just handle better and can have a person over 180lbs on it unlike Hondas. I know fat ass haha. Might check this out but it’s got a lot to go to be up there with the KTM sx-f or xc-f imo.
Been waiting for this one. Might be my first new bike since 2007 😂

Pat is the man, always look forward to hearing his analysis. Im not a big honda guy but bike looks good!
I really do enjoy Pat Foster’s reviews. Breaks it down nicely. Unfortunately I want a new bike now. lol
I feel the same he really gives honest feedback and doesn’t sugar coat reviews
Except Yamaha always being his favorite bike.
2010年式ホンダcrf450rweを所有しています本番スペア車両の為テストセッティングにて2時間~練習とレースにて3時間使用車両です~抜群の乗り味です~2025年式と比較をしてみたいと思います❗

He said in the video the suspension is setup to soft for him so he was bottoming on bigger jumps lol
Nice review
If I was going to get a new 450 it would be this
Looks like a good bike, wheelbase seems short but then im a Kawi rider

Let's see it on the West Coast hard pack.....

Bike is sick just add stiffer springs
Video starts at 3:00
My grandma bottomed that pos out when she unloaded it off her lowrider pickup
Suspension looks WAY off on landings. Need stiffer settings/springs for sure. It bottoms and bounces back and disrupts the bike nearly every landing.
Stock bike relax 😌 not every body will probably need stiffer springs

That's why I buy used bikes
Because it's fun when you have the money 😊
You don't understand because you don't have spare money like those people
not everyone.. but most every 4 years
The common folk don’t have a race team to set up their bike for every track. I don’t think Honda fixed the chassis

@ you’re right I just rode one at Fox last week. Stock is was awesome. A bit soft but very plush. Hats off to Honda
