I am so happy I found your channel! Since then I have made almost every meal that I have watched because I always have the ingredients you use. Thank you Elizabeth and please keep them coming!!
Just found your channel!! You’re exactly what I’ve been looking for 😊sensible, healthy, wholesome foods. I’m so excited to keep watching all of your wonderful recipes. Thank you for bringing this all together for us. ❤
I have the same IP and bought the strainer basket set to go with it. It’s great for steaming, but it’s also great for rinsing things off. Last week I made split pea soup- I poured the peas in the strainer then filled the IP with water. I lifted the basket up and down and also rotated it in the IP so it almost created an agitator wash for the peas. Works great! Best part is just to lift the basket out dump the water out and do it again. All the peas are in the basket- I’ve even done bean soaks too this way. It was another use for the IP that I never thought of using it for and didn’t need a colander or another pot to soak etc. just wanted to pass that along. Thx for your video!
So glad i just found your fantastic channel. Valuable. Subscribed. Cant wait to try some of the foods ive seen like you cabbage salad from another video
I have tried numerous recipes you’ve made (but GF) and we have loved them!! Also, I appreciate how you take the time to respond to so many of your comments❤
That is just wonderful, thank you for sharing! I’m glad you’re able to make them work even for gluten free. I’ll have more gluten free recipes coming as I think my intolerance to it has flared up again! Thank you so much for your kind words, I will remember them. ☺️💛
It's getting to the point where I meal plan for the week after watching your videos! 🤗 Really looking forward to the potato/brussel sprouts with honey mustard! And the chili, yumm! I am in the market for a new crock pot and the link to yours was not working for me (went to the oats). Curious which crock pot it is. Thanks!
Ahh love that so much!! The pressure is on now 😂 hope you love it all! So sorry the link was wrong. Here’s a similar green one that is gorgeous shopstyle.it/l/b3Tjd and here’s my white one, it’s by hearth and hand and I love it shopstyle.it/l/b3TiD
We are alike in so many ways! It is such a relief knowing that there is someone out there that lives like me. I also stopped using aluminum foil for some time now, and use parchment only 😊 love your content ❤
My husband and I are catechumens as of this week! I've been trying to figure out how to handle the fasting periods. I'm so so glad I found your channel!!!! So thankful to have a great resource for this! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Oh wow!! That is such a blessing, congratulations!☺️💛 We are far from fasting perfectly but I’ll definitely have some ideas for you! So happy you’re here Mady.
Hi! Can you link the white metal bowl that you use as a prep bowl. You place your vegetables in when they have been cooked or what you’ve chopped up to move off your cutting board. Thanks!
Hello 👋! I am thinking of getting an Instapot and was wondering what size do you have? I’m just trying to figure out what I size I need and yours looks like the perfect size. Also, I made your Delicada stuffed squash recipe! It was amazing! Thanks so much !
I love your channel! I don’t have a family but I do love meal prepping big meals that are healthy and comforting. Your recipes are always perfect! Just out of curiosity- is there a reason you use your smaller oven over your bigger one?
Wonderful! I’m so glad!! I bought it because it’s an air fryer with two racks so you can cook a lot at once but then I discovered that it cooked everything (roasting, baking, etc) just perfectly! And it heats up way quicker than my big over. It’s my favorite kitchen gadget ever. 😆
You need to invest in a glass lid for your instant pot. It’s great for reheating or for making yogurt when you don’t want flavors to leach from the rubber liner.
Another great video! For the lentil soup, I was wondering - I'm allergic to mushrooms. What do you suggest as a substitute? I can't wait to make all of these recipes!
Love your channel and recipes 🩷 if I were to make the lentil soup in a normal pot, any recommendations on how long to let it cook? I know in the link to the recipe it says cook on slow cook for 3-4 hours but didn't know if that was a setting on the Instant Pot, which I don't have. Haha.
I see you using black beans. I know some people are so into organic. When people are growing black beans they use all the pre emergent and post emergent and have to quit using in so many days before harvest. It is that way with lots of foods that can be labeled as organic so I just quit worrying about organic. Your meals are just so tasty sounding. 😀
Thank you so much for drawing attention to foil being undesirable. I feel like parchment paper is so under utilized in the kitchen. I’ve been cooking at home for a decade and just now started using it! One thing I would say to watch out for is putting tomato paste things in stainless steel for hours at a tine. I remember working at a barbecue restaurant (tomato based bbq sauce) and it basically changes the entire flavor of your food. I think it also helps chemicals leak out from stainless steel. Just a thought!
I love black bean chili! I made a big batch (only 2 of us so I freeze enough for 3 meals. It was really good! Black beans don’t get the credit they deserve! I need to make your lentil soup! Thank you for all the yummy ideas! That roast and chicken look amazing! You’re going to make me work more! LOL ❤❤❤
That’s a great freezer meal Debi! I need to try a meat free version of chili like that or even a black bean soup. I agree, I need to use them more often too, they are so affordable! So glad you liked the recipes!! Don’t work too hard 😂💛

That’s right! Thank you. 💛

Oh I didn’t know they made those! Thanks so much, the rubber rings drive me nuts because of that. 🥴
I’m so excited to watch your videos, just found your channel 5 mins ago lol
Ahh! That’s awesome. I hope you love it all 💛
Do you make your poultry seasoning? If not, what brands do you like for slices? Thanks!😊
That’s a great question! I haven’t tried making my own yet but I get this organic one that is great. amzn.to/46cD2L1
@@healthyelizabethbought it, thank you!!!
Another great video! For the lentil soup, I was wondering - I'm allergic to mushrooms. What do you suggest as a substitute? I can't wait to make all of these recipes!
Thanks!! A good substitute that would still give the soup heartiness and protein would be a can of white beans!

Thanks so much! 💕 You can just put a lid on a normal pot and cook for 35-45 ish minutes over medium low. Just till the lentils are nice and soft 😋
Perfect! Thanks so much!

Where did you buy your butcher block?
If you had left the beans out, that would have been a pretty authentic Texas chili. It looked delicious.
I didn’t even realize! Now I’ll have to research Texas chili recipes. Thanks for sharing that with me. :)
Yum
Ill cook these potatoes.
