  • Installing a Spartan2 OEM wideband controller in a GM P59 PCM (would work in P01 as well). Cost of controller, plug, and Bosch LSU 4.9 sensor was about $75 in total. These also have the capability talking directly to an Arduino if you get the I2C version. This is the linear version that does 0-5V wired to the EGR input and logged in VCM Scanner via HPTuners. This can be read via OBD (I hope) so I can integrate it in my custom gauges.

Pin 41 is ironically the egr position sensor ground lol. It’s just not used in every vehicle.

I found that out by popping four 5amp fuses lol. I am going to go through and verify all the case grounded pins for the PCM because there are probably 20-30 of them i'm guessing. I have ten 18 gauge wires going out directly to chassis ground. Makes it nice that I can just go to common ground internally on the case as well as any addition sensors for the arduino piggyback too using them.

did you have to input the equation for fine tuning the wideband? I use eehack for an lt1 and it's asking for the equation. I'm guessing 0v = 7.35 and 5v= 22.3?
