Nice video! I got a question. Do you think component level ECM repair is worth the effort? People say the chances of successful repairs is less and subsequent failures is high. Your thoughts?
Sorry didn't get back to you sooner the component level technician level is fading away it is not worth it to pay a technician to spend hours on a purchase circuit board when it is cheaper to buy from overseas Malaysia China other countries just like the cell phone it's easier to get a new one and you need special equipment special schematic it's just not worth it anymore thank you for the question
Absolutely that's definitely my intention soon as the weather gets much better over here and I recover fully from covid doing much better thank you for the suggestion
Taking a risk here. But do you have a video on gm wiring schematic symbols? I am attempting to diognose my 2017 chevy cruze dead hvac controls. Having trouble decoding the symbols.
If you go to my channel Joe electronics schematics for Auto and automotive electronics schematics by Joseph the other channel you should see plenty of videos about GM wiring diagrams as well as basic components and symbols keep me updated if you find it
Sir some electronic technician telling that when checking semiconductors or components on the computer boards,it is good to use an analog mutimeter rather than the DMM? Is it true sir?
Thank you for your comments a digital multimeter is the best tool to use because it has high input impedance usually 10 mega ohm and does not load down the circuit regarding your other question about the squares with the pins yes those are usually for chips and about your others suggestion if there's an interest in this video with enough views I'll try to make another video it depends how the minutes watched in the video goes and I get advertisements but thank you so much for all your comments really appreciate it
Great lesson. So much to learn. Really appreciate your expertise. Thx so much.
Thank you so much for the compliments and supporting the channel
Sir this tutorial I have been waiting for..can you point to the video you did earlier on PCBs. Thankyou again.
Thank you so much
