I got a c3 corvette 90 degree speedo adapter and also used a Dakota Digital VSS module to send a signal to the computer so it knows it's moving. The VSS is passthrough so you can connect your stock speedo to it.

Yea, they were some generic 12V LEDs I had laying around. You can tell they have a heatshrinked resistor on one legs. I can't remember why I got them in the first place lol.

I had a buddy of mine ask for measurements and he whipped something out of thin air and sent it to me from 1200 miles away and it fit. No joke.

Thanks! You wouldn't believe it though, I got about 80% done and cut it all out of the car. Just didn't like a few things and thought let's start over. Going to salvage tubing for rear braces and windshield bars. Planning to bend a new main hoop with left over piece I have yet and make a roof piece as one. Then tie in closer to the windshield.

I have a 1991 as well. Cant wait to start my build this upcoming winter.

@@C4VETTELT1I'll forgive you not knowing math because you were probably learning to make sandwiches instead. Typical early 90's vette could hold about .84 lateral g's and a 2020 widebody hellcat .96. So you lose again. I have 3 way selectable suspension. 305 wide tires on 20 inch rims. I'd pass you in every curve drifting sideways showing you what 797hp feels like.

Yes, I used 2010 Camaro SS manifolds on it. Cut the mounts off and welded vbands on. Just barely fit.

Oh yea, it runs it drives! My latest video on it doesn't show it because right when I got it going around the block I took in my father-in-laws elco to do an LS swap in. Works starts back on the vette soon over the winter on cage and interior and then it's off to paint.

For sure! I was literally racing against another guy doing the same thing so could have got more. Little bird told me another sale in the next 2-4 weeks is possible so just waiting for them to put more stuff in the yard. I need to get pedals and tac modules so I can get them all out and finish the vette for next summer.

HEY, I got pulled away from everything the last couple of weeks lolol. Life comes at you quick sometimes. Back at it though. Ramping back in.

You’re good man lol. Reason being just the fact we can pick them up for $15 and it’s getting rid of some parasitic drag. They completely enclose an s10 rad (looks to be same exact core size but need to double verify) like it was made for them and they move a ton of air. Also it cleans up some engine bay room. That’s about the only thing really.

@@codemanrose gotcha. It's neat that the Taurus fan fits the S10 rad so well, I'll have to try and remember that. I just hate spending a huge chunk of my electrical budget on a fan like that lol

@@kenstein I think I'm going out to the yard this weekend. I need to pull a fan for this setup (they are doing 44% off woooop). I'll snatch a rad up and set them on there to show you. I did measure the stock rad from the El Camino and it's exactly 2 inches taller (so still pretty close) and almost identical in core width. S10 is 26 1/4" and the El Camino is 26 3/8". So in theory this should work perfect. I just need to look for 2001-2006 sebring/stratus and those have the fans I like. I know some blazers got what is called an HD cooling package and the radiator in them are 2 row instead of 1. If I see one I will snatch that up and put that one in the vette as I dig the extra capacity and for $35 part I'll take it!
