When you go into reverse, just look in the mirrors or the reverse camera without turning your face backwards.

This is the best advice I can give during the road test even if you mess up correct your mistakes and act like it didn’t happen I passed my first try and all I did was watch videos like these but this one saved my lifeeeee learn to parallel park using this video people!!!!!

I passed my driving test today, 3/24/21 the best advice I can give to anyone listening is to always check your mirrors and practice a lot before taking your test, another piece of advice is that no matter what you will always be nervous when u take the wheel, you just have to get comfortable and cool yourself down

Just passed my road test and im commenting this on all the videos I watched to help me pass. Thank you so much for your help. Getting a license especially in New York (where im from) is a huge deal when you live far from public transportation. So thank you for relieving the stress I had for years about it. Message to the test takers, Do not focus on the instructor or whatever they’re doing when you’re taking your test. Just listen to their directions, pay attention and focus on the road. The test is really short and simple, there is no tricks or gimmicks. Good luck!

Hello Laura, my name is Elisa. Unfortunately I let my license expire. I’ve been driving since I was 16 years old. I have adult children. Several years ago I drove by myself from Florida to NYC. I’ve recently purchased for the first time ever a 2022 Honda Pilot. Regrettably, I’ve taken the road test twice already and failed. I’ve scheduled another road test for 8/5/2024. I’m not sure why or what I’m doing that’s causing me to fail. Can you help me?
I’m curious? Shouldn’t the instructor tell you or person who graded your drive? Also you could pay for a mock test and get feedback? I hope you pass soon!!!

Just wanted to thank you for these videos, they were so great for my test and I passed first time. Anyone reading this who is taking it soon keep in mind I drove for 5 months before taking the test, almost daily. This takes a lot of time but makes the test so much more worth it. Keep at it and I promise it gets easier with time

Awesome! If you're in Queens, you should call and get a lesson with me. 718-278-6679. If not, keep practicing and make sure that you take it slow when parking and keep looking around and pay attention to the curb.

This video makes me feel more confident about my test soon. I’m gonna take a lesson Monday which would determine if I can take my drivers test again much quicker than waiting! Definitely gonna try this parking method when I go driving today.
Yesterday at about 11.10 am I took my "road test drive". 2 hours before I was trained by Laura, she is very punctual and nice person, at all times she was always observant and careful during the instruction, as well as constant and professional, I felt she cared like an older sister although she sometimes seemed to lose her patience, she is easy going. With the necessary instruction from two previous classes I was able to pass my test, thanks a lot Laura! I appreciate your commitment...

Failed to observe means you didn't check for traffic when you first pulled out. The failed to use caution is that you probably forgot to look behind you at some time when you were parking or during the kturn.

I'll say this again, if you are a teenager or in your 20s with no experience...you will need atleast 16 lessons; practice 2 - 3 times a week & practice leading up to your test! On your last lesson, a day or two before the test, you should be doing FULL STOPS AT STOP SIGNS, MANUEVERING SAFELY & CORRECTLY (know who has the Right of Way) AT THE STOP ALL WAY & TWO WAY STOP INTERSECTIONS - know the difference between the two stop signs; MAKE SMOOTH ARC SHAPED TURNS, DO LEFT TURNS (WHETHER AT THE RED LIGHT, STOP SIGNS - STOP ALL WAY OR STOP, OR FROM THE RIGHT OF WAY) WELL; PERFORM THE PARALLEL PARK ( KNOW HOW TO RECOVER FROM THE TWO EXTREMES OF THE PARALLEL PARK) & 3 POINT TURN SMOOTHLY & WITHOUT ASSISTANCE! I'm done.
I’ve watched your videos since I’ve scheduled my test. Yesterday I took it and passed on the first try with small errors but that’s because I was under pressure. I did a package with a driving school that lets you practice before the actual test. It was easier than I thought! Although I’m from upstate NY, thank you for the videos☺️

@@nesha2255 depends on where you’re driving. If it’s 25 mph then it’s best to drive at that speed instead of going over.

when you went to parallel park and was backing up into the spot, did you put ur hand behind the seat? also when backing up what mirrors did you use?
@@mikaylaf.6099 After turning the wheel one full turn to my right, I had one had on the wheel (which I didn’t move) and one hand behind the passenger seat and was looking into the right mirror and slightly lifted myself up from my seat to see the side walk/curb properly.
@@Coco-lv9vm thank you! i’m scared to do that because they might fail me but i failed because i didn’t check my mirrors or blind spots apparently and i’m scared of looking at my mirrors too much vs looking around😭
